유아교사가 인식한 바깥놀이 운영의 장애요인과 교사의 역할 및 영역별 활동 운영 수준 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아교사들이 인식한 바깥놀이의 장애요인과 바깥놀이 운영 시 교사의 역할 및 영역 별 활동 운영 수준을 분석함으로써 바깥놀이 운영 개선을 위한 시사점을 도출하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 경기도에 소재한 유치원 및 어린이집 교사 300명을 대상으로 하였고, 설문지 276부를 유효자료로 통 계처리 하였다. 설문조사 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교사들은 바깥놀이의 교육적 가치와 효과에 대해 다양한 감각적 경험과 대소근육 발달에 도움이 된다고 높게 인식하고 있었다. 그리고 바깥놀이 운영의 장애요인에 대해 교사 측면에서는 연령에 따라 실시 가능한 바깥놀이 프로그램을 충분히 알고 있지 않은 점, 학부모 측면에서는 날씨에 대한 학부모들의 우려, 환경적 측면에서는 미세먼지, 황사 등의 불가피한 환경을 장애요인으로 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 유아교사들의 바깥놀이에 대한 계획 및 실시 수준은 보통보다 약간 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 여기에서 생활주제와의 연계가 가장 높게 나타 났고 바깥놀이를 중요한 일과로 생각한다는 수준은 가장 낮게 나타났다. 셋째, 유아교사들은 바깥놀 이 운영 시 교사의 역할은 어느 정도 높은 수준으로 나타났으며, 감독자의 역할이 가장 높게 나타났고 평가자의 역할에서 가장 낮은 수준을 보였다. 넷째, 바깥놀이 운영 시 영역별 활동 운영 수준은 보통 정도의 수준으로 나타났으며 주변 산책에서 가장 높게 나타났고 목공놀이에서 가장 낮게 나타났다. ※ 논문

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to draw out implications for improvement of outdoor play implement by analyzing obstacles of outdoor play recognized by early childhood teachers, teacher’s roles, and the level of activities. The subjects were 300 kindergarten and day care teachers in Gyeonggi province. 276 questionnaires were collected and analyzed as valid data using SPSS statistics program. The results of the survey are as follows. First, early childhood teachers were highly aware of the educational value and effects of outdoor play, which helped children develop various sensory experiences and gross and fine motor development. In terms of the obstacles of outdoor play, teachers don’t have enough information about outdoor play programs that can be carried out according to their age. And they also recognized parents’ concerns about weather, and inevitable environment matters such as particulate matters and yellow dust as obstacle factors in the aspect of parents and environment. Second, the level of planning and implementation of outdoor play by the early childhood teachers was slightly higher than normal level. In particular, the connection with the life theme appeared to be the highest, and the level of recognition of outdoor play as an important routine was the lowest. Third, teachers role in outdoor play was relatively high, supervisor s role was the highest, and the role of evaluator was the lowest. Fourth, the level of activities by area was normal, the highest in the outdoor walking and the lowest in the woodworking play.
