학년차원의 다층적 진로교육 프로그램이 초등학교 통합학급 6학년 학생의 진로개발역량, 진로탄력성 및 전환목표달성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 학년차원의 다층적 진로교육 프로그램이 초등학교 통합학급 6학년 학생의 진로개발역량, 진로탄력성 및 전환목표달성에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 초등학교 6학년 전체 학생 총 138명을 대상으로 보편적 지원이 실시되었고, 보편적 지원 이후에도 어려움을 보이는 학생 13명을 대상으로 추가 지원이 실시되었으며, 추가 지원 이후에도 집중적인 지원이 필요한 학생 7명(장애 5, 비장애 2)을 대상으로 개별 지원이 실시되었다. 보편적 지원은 진로와 연계된 학년 교육활동과 16회기의 진로수업, 추가 지원은 학생의 요구를 고려한 맞춤형 소그룹활동과 10회기의 개별상담, 개별 지원은 전환목표달성을 지원하기 위한 5회기의 강화된 개별상담이 제공되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 6학년 전체 학생의 진로개발역량 점수가 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다. 둘째, 6학년 전체 학생의 진로탄력성 점수가 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다. 추가 지원 대상학생과 개별 지원 대상학생의 진로개발역량과 진로탄력성 점수만 추출하여 분석한 결과 두 그룹 모두 사전점수는 전체 학생에 비해 상당히 낮은 편이었으나, 사후검사는 전체 학생의 평균을 상회할 정도로 크게 향상되었다. 셋째, 개별 지원에 참여한 학생의 전환목표달성도가 기대 이상의 수준으로 향상되었다. 마지막으로, 연구 결과에 대한 논의와 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate the effects of a grade-wide multi-tiered career education program on career development competency, career resilience, and transition goal attainment among Grade 6 students in inclusive classes. A total of 138 Grade 6 students, including 6 students with disabilities, from A Elementary School in Suwon participated in the universal support. For 13 students who exhibited continued difficulties after the universal support, targeted-group support was provided. Seven students(5 with disabilities and 2 without) who required more intensive support received individualized support. The universal support included grade-wide educational activities linked to career education and 16 sessions on career learning. The targeted-group support consisted of 10 weekly sessions of tailored small group activities and individual counseling based on the students’ needs. For individualized support, enhanced counseling designed to support transition goal attainment was provided for an additional five weeks. The results are as follows. First, the career development competency scores of all Grade 6 students showed statistically significant improvement. Second, the career resilience scores of all Grade 6 students also demonstrated statistically significant improvement. When analyzing the scores of students who received targeted-group or individualized support, both career development competency and career resilience were initially much lower than the overall average. However, after the program’s implementation, their scores improved significantly, surpassing the overall average of all students. Third, the transition goal attainment of students who participated in individualized support improved to a level that exceeded expectations. Lastly, the discussion of the results of the study, significance and limitations, as well as suggestions for future research were presented.
