중학교 특수학급에서 학생 참여형 수업을 적용한 ‘진로와 직업’ 교과 수업 실행연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 학생 참여형 수업을 적용하기 어려운 특수교육 현실을 개선하고자 중학교 특수학급에서 진로와 직업 교과 시간에 학생 참여형 수업을 실행하고 그 과정에서 얻게 된 교육적 의미를 살펴보는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 이 연구는 계획-실행-반성 및 평가의 순환적 절차를 반복하여 개선하는 실행연구 방법을 적용하였다. 연구 참여자는 교사로서의 연구자, 연구 참여 학생 5명, 전문가 5명이다. 총 10회기의 수업 실행과정에서 수집된 다양한 자료들은 실용적 절충주의 분석 절차에 근거하여 귀납적 및 연역적으로 분석하고 결과를 도출하였다. 연구 결과는 4개의 대주제와 10개의 소주제로 나타났으며, ‘시작: 삐거덕거리는 우리’, ‘변화: 한 걸음 한 걸음 천천히 맞춰지는 속도’, ‘성장: 함께 걷는 우리’, ‘숙제: 선물처럼 남겨진 과제’이다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 특수교육에서 학생 참여형 수업이 주는 의미와 교육적 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to bridge the gap between theory that emphasizes the importance of student participation-based instruction and the reality of special education, where student participation-based instruction is difficult to apply. This study implemented career vocational education that applies student participation-based instruction in the middle school special class and analyzed the educational implications that emerged from the process. The method of this study utilized action study following a cyclical process of planning, implementation, reflection, and evaluation. The study conducted a total of 10 cycles of career vocational education applying student participation-based instruction—involving five students in a middle school special class. The data collected during the implementation process were continuously analyzed by the researcher using both inductive and deductive methods. The results of this study depicted a process for implementing career vocational education applying student participation-based instruction in the middle school special class. The findings were categorized into four major themes and 10 sub-themes. A total of four educational implications were derived: 'Start: Our bumpy steps,' 'Change: A slow pace, step by step,' 'Growth: We walk together,' and 'Challenge: Homework left as a gift.' Based on these research results, the meaning and educational implications of student participation-based instruction in special education settings were presented.
