교수내용지식(PCK)에 따른 유아미술교육 대학교재 내용분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아교사양성과정의 미술교육 관련 강좌에서 활용하는 대학교재의 내용을 분석하여 유아미술 교수내용지식의 양상을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 2021년부터 2023년까지 국내에서 출간된 유아미술교육 대학교재를 수집하여 분석 자료로서의 적합성을 타진한 후 최종 9권을 분석 대상으로 하였다. 수집한 교재는 교수내용지식의 하위요소, 즉 교과내용지식, 교육학지식, 학습자지식, 상황지식으로 나누어 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 유아미술교육 대학교재는 공통적으로 교수내용지식의 각 하위요소와 관련된 지식을 포함하고 있었다. 그러나 하위요소 별 세부내용에 있어서는 교재마다 차이가 있었는데, 특히 미술교육을 지도하기 위해 필요한 미술교육 내용에 대한 지식, 교수방법에 대한 지식 등의 포함 여부에 차이가 있었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 유아미술교육 교재에서 다루어져야 할 교수내용지식의 방향성에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the content of university textbooks used in art education courses for early childhood teacher training programs and to examine the aspects of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) in early childhood art education. To achieve this, textbooks on early childhood art education published in Korea between 2021 and 2023 were collected and assessed for their suitability as analytical materials. Ultimately, nine textbooks were selected for analysis. The collected textbooks were analyzed based on the subcomponents of PCK: subject matter knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, learner knowledge, and contextual knowledge. The analysis revealed that the textbooks commonly included knowledge related to each subcomponent of PCK. However, there were differences in the detailed content within the subcomponents across textbooks. Notably, variations were observed in the inclusion of knowledge about art education content necessary for teaching and knowledge about teaching methods. Based on these findings, this study discusses the direction for addressing PCK in early childhood art education textbooks.
