국문 초록

글은 오가와 요코의 장편 『박사가 사랑한 수식』에서 시간적 연속성이 발휘되는80분을 중심으로 인물의 심리 공간을 퍼스의 기호체계와 변증법적 틀을 활용하여 고찰하였다.서사의 긴장과 이완,그리고 인물의 내면과 현실의 상호작용을 살펴보고 언캐니 방식으로 표면화되는 현실 공간을 푼크툼과 시간의 수축성으로 탐색하였다. 지금까지 오가와 문학의 연구는 가족 서사를 중심으로 이루어졌다.반면에 심리 공간과 현실 공간을 기호학과 시간성이라는 독창적인 틀 안에서 분석하고,80분이라는구체적인 시간 개념을 ‘수축의 문학적 시간성’으로 다루는 연구는 시도되지 않았다. 이 글은 기호체계와 시간성을 결합한 분석을 통해 오가와 문학의 복잡한 공간적 구조와 상징체계를 깊이 있게 조명하고,수학적 화소를 기반으로 창작된 문학 작품을 해석하는 방법론적 확장을 시도한 점에서 학문적 의의가 크다고 할 수 있다.이 연구에서 고찰하는 퍼스의 기호체계와 시간 수축개념의 이해는 수학 화소를 토대로 창작된작품의 외연을 넓히고 그 분석에 대한 방법론 확장에 기여할 것으로 본다.

영문 초록

This paper examines the psychological space of a character in Yoko Ogawa’s novel, “The Professor And His Beloved Equation”, which is 80 minutes in which temporal continuity is demonstrated, using Peirce’s semiotic system and dialectical framework. It examines the tension and relaxation of the narrative, and the interaction between the character’s inner self and reality, and explores the real space that is surfaced in an uncanny manner through punctum and the contraction of time. Up until now, research on Ogawa’s literature has focused on family narratives. On the other hand, there has been no attempt to analyze the psychological space and the real space within the unique framework of semiotics and temporality, and to treat the specific time concept of 80 minutes as a “literary temporality of contraction.” This paper is of great academic significance in that it deeply illuminates the complex spatial structure and symbolic system of Ogawa’s literature through an analysis that combines the semiotic system and temporality, and attempts to expand the methodological interpretation of literary works created based on mathematical pixels. The understanding of Peirce’s semiotic system and the concept of time contraction examined in this study is expected to broaden the scope of works created based on mathematical pixels and contribute to expanding the methodology for their analysis.
