다문서 기반에서 상충정보의 개념 및 해결에 관한 이론적 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 다문서 기반의 상충정보의 개념을 정립하고 해결에 관한 이론들을 분석하여 논의점을 찾는 것을 목적으로 한다.이를 위해 먼저 상충정보의 개념을 사전적의미와 학문적 배경 이론을 바탕으로 정교화하고 유관용어인 불일치정보와 오정보를비교하여 층위를 구분하였다.상충정보의 개념은 또,상충정보가 새로운 개념이 아니라 이미 단일문서에서도 중요하게 다뤄졌던 개념이기 때문에 단일 문서에서의 상충정보와 다문서에서의 상충정보는 어떤 차이점이 있는지 정리하여 다문서에서의 상충정보 특성을 밝히고자 했다. 상충정보의 개념을 따로 정립한 이유 중 하나는 기존의 다문서 연구에서 상충정보의 특성이 제대로 다뤄지지 않고,상충정보로 인해 무너진 일관성을 회복하는 차원의통합을 강조했기 때문이다.이에 본고에서는 상충정보의 통합에서 나아가 의사결정을 위한 평가를 강조하는 상충정보 해결을 강조하는CSI(Content-SourceIntegration) 모델을 제시하고,이를 기반으로 수정을 제시한 수정 모델을 함께 비교하여 분석 후논의점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, I aim to define the concept of conflicting information in multiple text systems and examine the theories related to its resolution, highlighting key areas for discussion. I begin by elaborating on the concept of conflicting information, drawing from its dictionary definition and relevant academic theories, and distinguish it from related terms such as inconsistent information and misinformation. Although conflicting information has been widely discussed in the context of individual documents, I explore the differences between conflicting information in single texts and across multiple texts to clarify its unique characteristics in a multiple text setting. One key reason for establishing a distinct concept of conflicting information is that existing multiple text studies tend to focus too heavily on restoring coherence lost due to conflicting information, without fully addressing the deeper complexities of the conflicts themselves. To address this, I propose a content-source integration (CSI) model, which emphasizes resolving conflicting information not only through integration but also through evaluation for decision-making. I also present a revised version of this model for comparative analysis and further discussion.
