국문 초록

이 연구는 외국인 학부생의 대학 글쓰기 서론 수정 단계에서ChatGPT를 활용한수업 사례를 분석하고 수업 운영 시 참고할 수 있는 제언을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 한국어 중급 및 고급 수준의 외국인 학부생 107명을 대상으로 생성형AI사용 윤리와 사용 방법에 대한 교육을 실시하고,ChatGPT를 사용하여 보고서 서론 초고를 수정하게 한 후,활동에 대한 만족도를 조사하였다.수업 사례와 만족도 조사 분석 결과, 학습자들은ChatGPT를 표현 수정하기의 목적으로 가장 많이 활용했으며 이에 대한만족도가 높았다.또한ChatGPT를 통한 표현 수정이 어휘와 문법 학습으로 이어지는 등 비판적 활용이 잘 이루어져 앞으로 학습자들이 이 기능을 학습에 도움이 되는측면으로 사용하게 해야 함을 제언하였다.반면 내용과 구성 수정하기에서는 상호작용과 비판적 검토가 상대적으로 부족하여 이에 대한 교육 강화가 필요함을 확인하였다.또한,프롬프트 작성 능력을 기를 수 있는 실습 중심의 교육과 지속적인 윤리 교육이 필요함을 제언하였다.본 연구는 외국인 학부생의 글쓰기 수정 과정에서 생성형AI 의 가능성과 한계를 탐색하고,효과적인 수업 운영을 위한 구체적 제언을 제공했다는점에서 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the utilization of ChatGPT in the revision phase of academic writing for foreign undergraduate students and to offer practical recommendations for classroom implementation. A total of 107 students with intermediate to advanced Korean proficiency were trained in the ethics and methods of using generative AI. Then, they revised their report introductions with ChatGPT. The results of the case study and satisfaction survey showed that the students frequently used ChatGPT for expression revision and were highly satisfied. ChatGPT also effectively supported the participants’ vocabulary and grammar learning, highlighting its value as a learning tool. However, the interaction and critical review of content and structure were limited, highlighting the need for improved instruction in these areas. This study underscores the importance of hands-on prompt-writing training and continuous ethical education. The study is significant in exploring the potential limitations of generative AI in writing revisions for foreign undergraduate students while providing suggestions for the class.
