대학생 학사경고자에 대한 내러티브 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 학사경고 대학생이 겪는 대학 생활 경험의 어려움을 학습 상담을 통해 상담하고,상담자의 내러티브를 통해 유형화하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 5명의 학생에 대한 내러티브 탐색 결과, 먼저 학사경고자가 학사경고를 받은 사유는 크게 ‘심리적 어려움’, ‘대학생활 또는 학과 적응의어려움’ 그리고 ‘학업에 대한 무관심‘으로 분류할 수 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 이들의 기존 학습 방법은 자기주도적 학습 방법이 아니라 타인 의존적 학습 방법에 의존하고 있음이 드러났다. 이러한학습자들이 학습의 정상의 궤도에 오르도록 돕기 위해 교과목을 통해 학습전략 향상에 필요한 다양한 방법과 전략을 이해하고, 일대일 상담을 통해 개개인이 자신의 이야기를 객관적으로 분석할 수있도록 돕고, 이를 바탕으로 향후 학습계획수립에 도움을 주고자 하였다. 본 연구는 현상에 대한 단편적인 기술에만 머물지 않고, 그들의 학사경고 경험과 그 의미에 대하여심층적인 이해를 하고자 하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to counsel university students on the difficulties they face inuniversity life through learning counseling, specifically focusing on students under academicprobation, and to categorize these experiences through counselors' narratives. Results fromnarrative exploration of five students revealed that reasons for receiving academic probationcould be broadly classified into 'psychological difficulties', 'difficulties in university life ordepartmental adaptation' and 'lack of interest in academics'. It was also evident that thesestudents relied on dependent learning methods rather than self-directed ones. To assist these learners in getting back on track with their studies, the study aimed to help them understandvarious methods and strategies for enhancing learning strategies through courses, assistindividuals in objectively analyzing their own stories through one-on-one counseling, andprovide support for future learning plans based on this analysis. This study holds significance in aiming for a profound understanding of students' experiencesunder academic probation and their implications, rather than simply providing a superficialdescription of the phenomenon.
