연구실 안전 분위기 측정도구 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록

최근 국내 연구실에서는 사고가 지속적으로 발생하고 있으며, 이를 예방하기 위하여 안전분야에서는 안전 분위기 조성을 강조하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 안전 분위기의 역할, 성과 등을 확인하기에 앞서 안전 분위기의 구성개념에 대한 정의와 하위 영역을 확립하고 이를 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하고자 한다. 이를 통하여 연구실 안전 분위기와 관련 변인 간의 연구 활성화에 기여하고자 한다. 본 연구는 선행연구를 통하여 측정도구의 하위영역 및 문항에 대하여 초안을 개발하였으며, 전문가 내용타당도 조사, 예비조사와 본 조사를 통하여 측정도구를 타당화하였다. 설문조사는 연구활동종사자를 대상으로 실시하였으며, 탐색적 및 확인적 요인 분석을 통하여 측정도구를 타당화하였으며, 신뢰도 분석을 통하여 측정도구의 신뢰성을 확보하였다. 또한, 안전 관련 변인과의 상관분석을 실시하였다. 안전 분위기 측정도구는 총 4개 영역, 19문항으로 초안이 도출되었으며, 내용 타당도 검증을 통하여 총 16문항을 예비문항으로 선정하였다. 예비조사를 실시하여 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 총 4개 영역, 12문항으로 수렴되었다. 이후 본 조사를 통하여 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 측정도구는 타당한 것으로 나타났으며, 안전 관련 다양한 변인과는 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 최종 연구실 안전 분위기 측정도구는 연구실 운영방침, 연구실 안전규정, 연구실 안전교육, 구성원 간 의사소통의 4개 하위영역으로 구성되었으며, 총 12문항으로 개발되었다. 안전리더십, 안전지식, 안전태도, 안전행동 등의 안전 관련 변인과의 상관관계가 유의한 것으로 나타나 향후 연구실 안전 관련 연구에 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 연구 활성화를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Recently, accidents have been occurring continuously in domestic research labs, and in order to prevent them, the safety field is emphasizing the creation of a safe climate. Therefore, in this study, before confirming the role and performance of safety climate, we establish the definition and sub-factor of the concept of safety climate and develop a tool to measure it. Through this, we hope to contribute to revitalizing research on lab safety climate and related variables. Through previous research, a draft of the sub-factors and questions of the measurement tool was developed, and the measurement tool was validated through an expert content validity survey, preliminary survey, and main survey. The survey was conducted targeting people engaged in research activities, the measurement tool was validated through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and the reliability of the measurement tool was secured through reliability analysis. In addition, correlation analysis with safety-related variables was conducted. The safety climate measurement tool was drafted with a total of 4 areas and 19 questions, and a total of 16 questions were selected as preliminary questions through verification of content validity. As a result of conducting a preliminary survey and conducting exploratory factor analysis, a total of 4 sub factor and 12 questions were converged. Afterwards, as a result of confirmatory factor analysis through this survey, the measurement tool was found to be valid, and there was a correlation with various safety related variables. The lab safety climate measurement tool consists of four sub-factor : lab operation policy, lab safety regulations, lab safety education, and communication between members, and was developed with a total of 12 questions. The correlation between safety related variables such as safety leadership, safety knowledge, safety attitude, and safety behavior was found to be significant, so it can be used in future lab safety related research and is expected to revitalize research.
