면접 화법의 교수-학습 내용에 대한 비판적 고찰

국문 초록

현대인이 거쳐야 할 입시와 취업에는 반드시 면접이라는 과정이 있다. 면접은 평가의 목적으로 지적 능력, 사고력 및 표현력, 인성 및 가치관과 개인생활 등을 파악하는 공식적 질의·응답의 말하기 양식이다. 제7차 교육과정에서는 화법의 실제라 하여 면접이 면담에 포함되어 다루어져, 그 중요성에 비추어 비중은 약한 편이었다. 2007년 개정 교육과정에서는 면접을 화법의 담화 유형 7가지 안에 넣어 그 중요성을 인정하고 있는 편이나, 교과서는 아직 제7차 교육과정에 따르고 있어 면접에 관한 교수-학습 내용은 여전히 불충분한 편이다. 학습자들은 학교 교육과정에서 여전히 면접을 접해 볼 기회가 적고, 내용도 부실하여 새로운 면접 화법과 관련된 교수-학습 내용 방안을 마련할 필요가 있다. 화법 교과서에서 다루어야 할 면접 화법의 교수-학습 내용으로는 첫째, 면접을 위한 준비 과정이 있어야 하며, 둘째, 면접에 임했을 때 필요한 화법 이론이 있어야 하며, 셋째, 면접 시 효과적으로 자기를 표현할 수 있는 방법 등이 포함되어야 한다. 넷째, 이 모든 것을 바탕으로 학습자로 하여금 면접 화법을 실제 체험해 볼 수 있는 내용이 들어 있어야 한다.

영문 초록

When it comes to taking an entrance exam and getting a job, a common experience in modern society, there is necessarily an interview procedure. An interview is a public speech style that helps to grasp one's intellect, power of thinking and expression, personality, sense of value and personal life with an intention of evaluation. In the 7th National Curriculum, an interview was included in a discourse as Practice of Speech, making it less important for its significance. Although the importance of interview in the post 7th Curriculum is acknowledged by being categorized as one of the 7 discourse styles of speech, the contents concerning interview are lacking since the textbooks still stick to the 7th Curriculum. Learners continued to have few chances to encounter interview in person and the contents were insufficient in the School Curriculum. Therefore, there was needed a way of enriching contents of teaching-learning with regard to a new interview speech. First, speech textbooks need to cover preparation precess ahead of interview. Second, they should include speech theories required in actual interviews and also introduction to ways to express oneself efficiently at interviews. Lastly, on the basis of those mentioned so far, contents through which learners can experience interview personally should be included, as well.
