한국어 교육 정책에 대한 신문의 보도 양상 연구

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 한국어 교육 정책에 대한 신문의 보도 양상을 파악하는 것이다. 2005년 1월 1일부터 2011년 8월 31일까지 6개 주요 일간지의 기사를 시기별․유형별로 분석하고 기사 내용을 한국어 교육 정책의 각 영역별로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 시기별로는 2009년까지 기사 수가 계속 증가하다가 2010년부터 기사 수가 감소하였다. 이를 통하여 한국어 교육 정책에 대한 신문 언론의 관심이 2009년을 정점으로 줄어들고 있음을 알 수 있다. 유형별로는 단순 전달 기사가 가장 많았고 다음으로 기획․연재 관련 기사 수가 많았다. 내용별 기사 수는 국외 한국어 교육 정책, 다문화 한국어 교육 정책, 한국어 교육과정 정책, 한국어 교원 교육 정책, 한국어 교육평가 정책 순으로 나타났다. 신문사별 기사 내용 분석 결과 조선일보는 단순 전달 기사가 많았고 동아일보는 기획․연재 기사가 많았다. 중앙일보는 사실 전달과 함께 논평이 있는 기사가 많았고 국민일보는 기독교 선교와 관련된 내용이 많았다. 경향신문과 한겨레신문은 정부의 한국어 교육 정책에 대한 비판 기사가 많은 특징이 나타났다. 전체적으로 기사의 내용이 정책을 세밀하게 분석하고 방향을 제시하는 면이 부족했고, 다문화 정책과 연관된 기사가 많아서 한국어 교육 정책만을 깊이 있게 다룬 기사가 부족했다.

영문 초록

This study aims at grasping the trait of newspaper reports about policy of Education of Korean. This study analyzes the articles of the six kinds of the major daily newspapers which are related with policy of Education of Korean for foreigners between January the 1st, 2005 and August 31th, 2011 classified by times and types from angle of function. The result of analysis is that the number of articles increased till 2009, then, the number of them has reduced from 2010. That means the press has lost interest in them. With the view of types, the simple descriptions are the most, the next the numbers related special sections and series follows that(11.7%). With the numbers of contents are the first of education of Korean policy in abroad, and, the second, the one of multi-culture, the third the curriculum, the forth, the education for teachers for foreign learners, the fifth, evaluation of that. According to the kinds of daily newspapers, the majority of the simple description is in The Chosunilbo, special sections and series in The Dongailbo, delivery of facts or criticism in The Joongangilbo, missionary work of the Christian religion in The Kookminilbo, and the critical views of the policy of education of Korean be in force by Government in The Kyunghyangshinmun and The Hankyoreh. The criticism and suggestion are insufficient in overall and lay disproportionate emphasis on policy on the multi cultural families.
