국문 초록

목적: 복합양식문식성의 행동적 측면과 관련된 전환 능력의 개념을 정립하고, 이를 신장시킬 수 있는 국어교육의 방향 및 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법: 양식을 종류별로 범주화하여 국어교육에서 다룰 수 있도록 체계화하고, 기존 양식을 재구성하는 전환 능력에 대해 설명하였다. 복합양식문식성의 내용요소를 반영하여 현 2015 국어과 교육과정 내용체계를 재구성하였고, 국어교육이 실행되는 교수·학습 과정에서 지원해야 할 요소들을 학습자 외적 측면과 내적 측면으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 결과: 전환 능력은 복합양식문식성의 실행적 측면에 있어 중핵적 역량이라 할 수 있다. 이를 신장시키기 위한 교육과정 내용체계는 모든 의미구성과정(표현, 의사소통, 이해)과 분절적으로 다루어졌던 언어 활동(듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기)을 하나의 내용체계에 제시하여 그들 간의 유기적 관계를 살려야 한다고 보았다. 아울러 학습자 외적 요소로 교수자들의 문식성 개념의 확장과 내적 요소로 프로파일의 구성이 필요함을 강조하였다. 결론: 복합양식문식성은 학습자들이 갖추어야 하는 중요한 미래 역량이며, 본고에서 제안한 교육적 적용 방안은 앞으로 국어교육 실행 측면에서 고려해야 할 주요 대안이 될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose is to establish the concept of transpositional com- petence and to suggest directions and measures for Korean language education that can enhance multimodal literacy. Methods: By categorizing the modes, the multi-modes that can be dealt with in Korean language education were systematized, and the transpositional competence was explained. In order to enhance the multimodal literacy realized based on transpositional com- petence, the curriculum content system of the current 2015 Korean language curriculum was reconstructed. Results: The transpositional com- petence is a core competency in the multimodal literacy. The content system of the curriculum to enhance this should include all our semantic processes of representaion, communication, and interpretation. In addition, language activities that are divided into listening, speaking, reading, and writing should be presented in a single content system to revive the organic relationship between them. This curriculum is the basis for the improvement of multimodal literacy. It emphasized the need to expand the concept of literacy of instructors as an external element of learners and to construct profiles as an internal element. Conclusion: Multimodal literacy is an important future competency that learners must have, and the educational application plan proposed in this paper can be a major alternative to be considered in terms of Korean language education implementation in the future.
