국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 국내 대학에 재학 중인 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 컴퓨터에 대한 태도와 컴퓨터 활용 능력이 온라인 수업 만족도에 영향을 미치는지 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 방법: 남녀 유학생 122명을 대상으로 비대면 설문 방식을 통해 조사하였다. 흥미성, 유용성, 불안, 자신감, 선호 등 5개 요인으로 분류된 컴퓨터에 대한 태도와 컴퓨터 활용 능력에 따른 온라인 수업 만족도를 살펴보기 위해 다중회귀분석와 상관 분석을 실시하였다. 결과: 온라인 수업의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 태도 요인 중 흥미성과 자신감이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났고 컴퓨터에 대한 자신감, 흥미성, 유용성, 선호도가 높을수록 수업 만족도가 증가하였다. 반면 컴퓨터에 대한 불안은 온라인 수업의 만족도와 상관성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 컴퓨터 활용 능력이 높을수록 온라인 수업에 대한 만족도 역시 높은 것으로 분석됐다. 결론: 본 연구는 컴퓨터에 대해 학습자가 가지는 태도 및 컴퓨터 활용 능력 등과 같은 온라인 학습자의 특성이 수업 만족도에 영향을 주는 주요 요인이 될 수 있음을 밝혀 유학생의 온라인 수업의 질을 개선하고 수업 효과와 만족도를 향상시키기 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of attitudes toward computers and computer utilization ability on online class satisfaction for international students studying at universities. Methods: The survey was conducted on 122 male and female international students enrolled in the university’s undergraduate department through a non-face-to-face survey method. Multiple regression analysis and correlation analysis were conducted to examine the attitude toward computers classified into five factors: interest, usefulness, anxiety, confidence, and preference, and online class satisfaction according to their ability to use computers. Results: Among the sub-factors of attitudes affecting the satisfaction of online classes, interest and confidence were found to be the highest, and the higher the confidence, interest, usefulness, and preference for computers, the higher the satisfaction. On the other hand, it was found that computer anxiety was not related to the satisfaction of online classes. In addition, it was analyzed that the higher the computer utilization ability, the higher the satisfaction with online classes. Conclusion: This study revealed that online learners’ characteristics, such as learners’ attitudes toward computers and computer utilization ability, can be a major factor influencing class satisfaction, which can be used as basic data to improve the quality of online classes of international students.
