특수학교 에듀케어반의 효율적인 운영방안 모색을 위한 기초연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 특수교육 전달체계의 한 모형으로 도입된 서울특별시 특수학교 에듀케어반의 효율적인 운영방안 모색을 위한 기초자료 제공이 목적이다. 이를 위해 서울특별시 특수학교 19개의 에듀케어반 교사 110명과 그 학부모 182명를 대상으로 에듀케어반에 대한 실태와 요구를 조사하였다. 연구결과, 서울특별시 특수학교 에듀케어반은 학생의 전인적 발달을 주목적으로 한 무상교육이며 평일과 방학에만 운영되고 급당 6.72명의 학생이 주로 보육교사자격증소지자인 평균 2.34명의 교사와 일상생활지도를 중심으로 교육활동이 이루어졌다. 또한 에듀케어반 교사와 학부모 모두는 에듀케어반의 확대운영과 독립된 공간 확보, 장애학생에게 맞는 맞춤형프로그램 지원, 다양한 프로그램개발을 원하며, 교사는 교육에 대한 전문성, 자신의 신분보장, 직무 및 연수교육 강화 등을 원하였다. 또한 학부모는 보육강조, 다양한 교재교구 배치, 운영시간의 유동성, 유능한 교사의 배치를 요구하였다.

영문 초록

Edu-care classes of special schools in Seoul were first introduced as a delivery model of special education. However, in spite of it needs of spreading and deepening in future, studies related to its efficient operation was very few. The purpose of this study was to provide preliminary data on the needs of edu-care class teachers and parents and the realities of them located in Seoul in order to operate them more efficiently. These results of the study were as follows: First, edu-care classes of special schools in Seoul were being operated for its purpose of development for the whole person. The classes were provided on school days in each term and vacation period for free and, on the average, 2.34 teachers who have nursery teacher licenses were teaching mainly about life skills to 6.72 students per class. Second, common needs of edu-care class teachers and parents were to operate edu-care classes on an enlarged scale, to have independent rooms, to support students with disabilities with customized programs, and to develop various programs. Third, principal needs of teachers were to secure their experties in education, to guarantee of their job status, to intensify job training. Finally, main needs of parents were to stress nursery, to prepare various teaching material, to operate class time flexibly, and to employ competent teachers.
