뇌성마비유아 가족지원 실태 및 부모의 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 뇌성마비유아 가족의 역량강화와 효율적인 지원 방안을 모색하고자, 부산광역시와 울산광역시에 소재한 유아 교육기관을 이용하는 뇌성마비유아의 부모 113명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 조사를 통하여 가족지원 실태 및 각 실태에 대한 만족도, 그리고 지원 요구 등에 관하여 분석하였다. 얻어진 자료를 토대로 조사대상자의 특성에 따라 통계학적으로 추론함과 동시에, 지원 요구에 대한 의견을 유형화한 결과 다음과 같은 주된 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 뇌성마비유아 부모가 이용하는 지원서비스는 전문치료, 특수교육, 세금감면 혜택, 보조기구 구입 및 수리 등의 순으로, 가족을 위한 지원서비스보다 뇌성마비유아에게 직접적인 지원서비스의 이용율이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 이용율이 높은 교육 및 의료 지원서비스 영역에서 특히 특수교육과 통합교육에 대한 부모의 만족도는 높게 나타났으나, 전반적인 만족도는 대체로 낮았다. 그리고 뇌성마비유아의 성별, 연령, 장애등급 등의 변인과 부모의 연령 및 가족의 수입 등의 변인에 따라 의미있는 차이는 없었다. 셋째, 뇌성마비유아 부모가 요구하는 가족지원은 통합교육을 위한 지원, 장애아동 의료비 및 교육비 지원, 부모/조부모/비장애 형제자매의 스트레스 해소를 위한 프로그램 및 상담지원, 교육 의료적 지원 정보제공 등 최근 특수교육에서 특히 주안점을 두고 있는 영역에서 가장 두드러지게 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine on the condition and awareness of family support of young children with cerebral palsy and to suggest on the empowerment of family function and the effective family support. This study was investigated 113 parents of young children with cerebral palsy who attending in clinic and social welfare centers in Busan and Ulsan City. The concrete findings of this purpose is as follows. First, the coefficient of utilization indicated the specialty medical treatment in the education and medical treatment support, the assistive equipments buying or repair support in the economic support, the family programs in the social or psychological support, the information offer in the alternative care or the others support. Second, the high degree of satisfaction was in special education, inclusive education. But generally the low degree of satisfaction was indicated. There was no significant difference among the condition of the rearing support on young children and parent s variables. Third, there was tendency of the family support needs on inclusive education, education & medical treatment cost, family programs, counselling, informations.
