‘만월대 디지털기록관’ 콘텐츠 추가 구축 및 이용활성화 방안

국문 초록

개성 만월대 발굴은 남북이 역사무대를 공유한다는 측면에서 의미있는 사업이었고, 그러한연장선상에서 만월대 디지털기록관은 그것을 디지털 환경으로 구현해내는 것이다. 10여 년간진행되어 온 만월대 발굴조사 사업은 남북공동의 이해 나아가 문화유산 교류협력사업의 모델을 제시하였다. 남북교류사업의 일회적 이벤트적 한계를 넘어 지속적 상설적 제도화의 가능성을 보여주었고, 민관 협력이 결실을 맺은 대표적인 사례로 평가할 수 있을 것이다. 본고에서는 2020년 12월 개통예정인 ‘만월대 디지털기록관’의 콘텐츠 추가 구축 및 이용활성화 방안을 제시하였다. ‘만월대 디지털기록관’은 지난 2017년 ‘개성 만월대 유물자료 정리사업’, 2018~2020년 ‘개성 만월대 남북공동발굴 디지털아카이브 구축사업’을 진행한 결과로개통되었으며, 생산 단계에서부터 디지털 포맷으로 생성된 기록들이 구축 대상 대다수를 차지한다는 점에서 ‘만월대 디지털기록관’은 매우 주목받을 가능성이 크다. 아울러 ‘만월대 디지털기록관’은 남북 교류가 여러가지 부침을 겪는 현실을 감안해볼 때 지속적으로 추진하기 위한중심추의 역할을 담당하게 될 것이다. 한편, ‘만월대 디지털기록관’은 자료의 보관이라는 일차적인 목표에서 나아가 여러 방면으로의 활용을 염두에 두고 추가 구축 방향을 모색할 필요가 있다. 구축 초기단계에 해당하는현재 시점에서 향후 활용도를 높이기 위해서는 무엇보다 현재의 아카이브를 어떠한 방향으로발전시켜 나갈 것인지에 대한 뚜렷하고 명확한 계획이 필요할 것이다. 본고에서는 이러한점에 유념하여 아카이브 내 디지털 전시, 가상 박물관 구축, 유네스코 기록유산 등재 추진및 관련 콘텐츠 탑재 등의 방안을 제시하였다. 아울러 콘텐츠를 추가 개발하는 과정에서 이용활성화 방안도 살펴보았다. ‘만월대 디지털기록관’은 남북이 분단된 상황에서 구축되는 것이기는 하지만, 향후 개성에고려박물관 건립을 위한 여러 계획에도 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 아울러 ‘만월대 디지털기록관’ 은 향후 다양한 분야와의 협업 및 융복합 연구 등 높은 확장성과 다양한 가능성을 가지고있다는 점에서 활용 가치가 높다. 적절한 추가 콘텐츠 개발 및 여러 이용자 계층의 기호를맞춘 활성화 방안을 통해 ‘만월대 디지털기록관’이 해당 분야 연구자에게 도움으로 주고, 남북교류의 상징으로서 기능할 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

In this paper, we looked at ways to build additional contents and promote the use of ‘Manwoldae Digital Archives’, which is scheduled to open in December 2020. ‘Manwoldae Digital Archives’ was opened as a result of the ‘Gaesong Manwoldae Relics Material Clearing Project’ in 2017 and the ‘Gaesong Manwoldae Inter-Korean Joint Excavation Digital Archive Construction Project’ in 2018-2020, and the ‘Manwoldae Digital Archives’ is highly likely to draw keen attention given that the majority of records created in digital format from the production stage. In addition, ‘Manwoldae Digital Archives’ will serve as a central pillar for the continued promotion given the fact that inter-Korean exchanges are suffering from various ups and downs. Meanwhile, it is necessary to go further from the primary goal of storing data and seek further deployment directions with the use in many ways in mind for ‘Manwoldae Digital Archives’. At this point in the early stages of deployment, increasing future utilization will require, among other things, a clear and clear plan on how to evolve the current archive. With this in mind, this paper proposed measures such as digital exhibitions in archives, the establishment of virtual museums, the promotion of UNESCO s registration as a documentary heritage, and the installation of related contents. In addition, in the process of further development of contents, measures to activate use should be taken into consideration. Because the best way to preserve cultural heritage is to utilize it. The Goryeo Museum currently exists in the Seonggyungwan in the Gaesong area, but it is hard to say that it has functions as a museum in terms of exhibition conditions, preservation, and other aspects. Therefore, it is necessary to build a ‘Koryeo Museum’ that functions as a museum, as the relics in Kaesong have been listed as a World Heritage Site and many additional materials have been obtained through the excavation of Manwoldae. Although ‘Manwoldae Digital Archives’ are built in a situation where the two Koreas are divided, it could also be used in various plans for the construction of the Koryo Museum in the future. In addition, ‘Manwoldae Digital Archives’ is highly valuable in that it has high scalability and various possibilities such as collaboration and convergence research with various fields in the future. It is hoped that the ‘Manwoldae Digital Archives’ will be able to help researchers in the field and function as a symbol of inter-Korean exchanges through proper development of additional content and activation measures tailored to the tastes of various user classes.
