미혼 여성의 자아실현, 양성평등의식과 결혼관간의 구조적 관계분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 미혼여성의 자아실현, 양성평등의식과 결혼관간의 관련성을 확인하고, 자아실현과 양성평등의식이 결혼관의 각 영역에 영향을 미치는 구조적 관계를 분석하고자 시도되었다. 자료 수집은 2011년 12월에서 2012년 3월까지 미혼여성 302명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 t-검정, ANOVA, Pearson 상관계수 및 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 분석되었다. 분석결과 자아실현은 ‘성공적 결혼관’(β=.167, p=.020), ‘결혼의 필요성’(β=.322, p<.001), ‘이혼 및 재혼을 통한 대안적 결혼관’(β=.216, p=.002) 등에 유의한 양의 영향을, ‘결혼의 불합리성’(β=-.216, p=.004)에는 음의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 자아실현이 높을수록 ‘성공적 결혼관’과 ‘결혼의 필요성’, ‘이혼 및 재혼을 통한 대안적 결혼관’이 높고, ‘결혼의 불합리성’이 낮은 것으로 예측되었다. 양성평등의식은 ‘전통적 결혼관’(β=-.714, p<.001)과 ‘결혼의 필요성’(β=-.441, p<.001)에는 음(-)의 영향을, ‘결혼의 불합리성’(β=.494, p<.001)과는 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로, 양성평등의식이 높을수록 ‘전통적 결혼관’에 대해 부정적이고 ‘결혼의 필요성’은 낮게 인식하고 있으며,‘결혼의 불합리성’은 높게 인식하는 것으로 예측되었다. 이로서 미혼여성의 긍정적인 결혼관 형성을 위해서는 이성간의 관계중심에서 부모 되기 위한 준비를 기초로 한 성교육 프로그램 개발이 요구되며, 대학과 직장 내에서 양성평등교육프로그램을 의무화해야 한다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyze the structural relationship between self-actualization, gender equality awareness, and marriage value in unmarried women. The data were collected from 302 unmarried women from December, 2011 to March, 2012. Data were analysed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and structural equation model analysis. Self-actualization was positive relationships between ‘successful marriage’ (β=.167, p=.020), ‘necessity of marriage’ (β=.322, p<.001), and ‘alternatives by divorce and remarriage’ (β=.216 p=.002), but there was negative relationships between ‘irrationality of marriage’ (β=-.216, p=.004). Gender equality awareness was positive relationships between ‘irrationality of marriage’ (β=.494, p<.001), but there was negative relationships between ‘traditional marriage’ (β=-.714, p<.001) and ‘necessity of marriage’ (β=-.441, p<.001). The finding of this study indicate that the development of comprehensive sex education program focused on parent-to-be instead of couple-centered is needed. The program of gender equality awareness should be applied in university and place work.
