우리나라 인구구조 변화에 대한 마이크로시뮬레이션 적용에 관한 연구

국문 초록

우리나라는 급격한 인구 고령화로 인해 많은 문제에 직면하고 있으며 이에 대한 각종 정부정책이 마련되어 시행되고 있다. 정부정책이 실효성을 갖기 위해서는 정확한 인구구조 변화에 대한 파악이 선행되어야 할 것이다. 그러나 통계청에서 국가통계포털을 통해 제공하고 있는 인구통계 자료들은 최근 20여년의 자료를 제외하고는 연령구간 기준에서 체계적인 정리가 부족한 것이 사실이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 국내 인구자료의 부족함을 해결하기 위해 마이크로시뮬레이션에 의한 인구생성을 적용해보고자 한다. 이를 위해서 마이크로시뮬레이션 모델 기법을 소개하고 1970년 이후 출생자수와 사망확률자료를 통해 2000~2007년의 성별 1세 단위의 가상 인구자료를 생성하여 인구센서스자료 및 주민등록인구 자료와 비교하였다.

영문 초록

In recent years, a lot of problems have arisen due to the rapid aging-population, and the government now operates various social policies for them. In order to make these policies work more effectively, it is necessary to comprehensively understand the changes in the national population structure. The population data provided by the Korea National Statistical Office(KNSO) through the Korean Statistical Information Service(KOSIS) website, however, used rather arbitrary age-groups until the mid-1980s, and thus are insufficient to summary the temporal patterns. This paper aims to remedy this insufficiency of the population data using a microsimulation model. In this paper, the microsimulation model will be briefly introduced, and then applied to generate a pseudo population dataset from 2000 to 2007, based on the birth and death probability for those who were born after 1970. The data are aggregated by gender and one-year age-groups and are compared with the census data as well as the resident registration population data.
