반복이 존재하는 4×4 라틴방격모형의 검정력 연구

국문 초록

반복이 존재하는 4×4 라틴방격모형에서 주효과를 검정하기 위한 순위변환 통계량의 검정력은 랜덤인자가 적게 존재하거나 표본크기와 효과크기를 크게 할수록 모집단의 분포유형에 상관없이 모수적 통계량의 검정력보다 전반적으로 높은 수준임을 알 수 있다. 그리고 일반적으로 블럭효과 크기가 주효과에 비하여 작을수록 순위변환 통계량의 검정력은 우위성을 보인다. 특히 반복이 존재하지 않는 전형적인 라틴방격모형에서는 모든 모집단에 걸쳐 순위변환 통계량의 검정력이 월등한 우위수준을 보이며, 반복이 존재하는 라틴방격모형에서는 주인자와 두 블럭인자만으로 구성된 특성으로 인하여 비록 적은 반복수 및 랜덤인자들이 존재하는 경우에도 순위변환 통계량의 검정력은 모수적 통계량의 검정력보다 빠르게 증가하는 우위성을 보인다.

영문 초록

In a 4×4 latin square design with replications, powers of rank transformed statistic for testing the main effect are superior to powers of parametric statistic as random factors are fewer and sample sizes and effect sizes are bigger. In general when block effect sizes are smaller than the main effect, powers of rank transformed statistic are high. In a traditional latin square design without replications, powers of the rank transformed statistic for testing the main effect are very superior to powers of parametric statistic without regard to the type of population distributions. Meanwhile in a latin square design with replications, powers of the rank transformed statistic show rapid increase due to the characteristics of a latin square design which is only composed of two block effects and one main effect, even though random factors exist.
