우식 유아치 발생에 대한 다양한 통계적 모형에 관한 연구

국문 초록

보다 정확한 통계모형의 개발을 위해 가장 필요한 과정은 먼저 분석 자료의 특성을 파악하는 것이다. 분석 자료의 특성에 부합하는 분포 기반의 통계적 모형을 적용할 경우 모형의 적합도와 정확성은 향상된다. 본 연구에서는 우식 유아치 수에 영향을 주는 요인을 확인하기 위해 다양한 설명변수 자료를 이용하여 자료의 특성을 기반으로 하는 모형이 기존의 모형보다 우수함을 확인하였다. 특히, 본 연구에서 사용된 우식 유아치 수 자료는 영과잉 자료의 특성과 함께 독립변수 간 다중공선성이 존재한다는 특징이 존재하여 일반적인 가산회귀모형과 더불어 자료의 영과잉 및 다중공선성을 반영한 모형들을 고려하였다. 총 6가지의 모형을 비교하였으며 최종적으로 영과잉 음이항 주성분 회귀모형이 가장 우수함을 확인하였으며, 선택된 최종 모형을 통해 우식 유아치 수에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 파악하였다. 분석결과 우식 유아치 수에 영향을 미치는 요인은 연령과 과일과 채소의 섭취량으로 분석되어 향후 유아들의 우식 예방을 위한 식습관 개선 등에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

It is important to understand features of data for accurate estimation when statistical model is applied. Accuracy and goodness of fit are improved by fitting models based on data driven distribution. Therefore the purpose of this study is confirm that models based on data that is the number of dental cares of children are better than general models. Furthermore finding the factors influencing the number of dental caries of children by using the best models that is selected is considered. There are two things that present features of data. First, this data are zero inflated data. Second, independent variables have multicollinearity. So we consider not general count regression models but also the models that reflect the features mentioned above. A total of six models are considered and compared. Finally zero inflated negative binomial principal component model is selected as the best model based on Akaike information criterion. The results showed that age, fruit and vegetable intake habit were the factors affecting the dental caries. It is expected that it will be able to improve eating habits to prevent caries in future.
