간호대학생의 환자권리인식에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호대학생의 환자권리인식, 인권감수성 및 자아존중감 간의 관계를 파악하고, 간호대학생의 환자권리인식에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하여 간호대학생의 환자권리인식증진을 위한 방안을 마련하기 위해 시행되었다. 대상자는 간호대학생 238명이었고, 자료는 일반적 특성과 인권감수성, 자아존중감, 환자권리인식으로 구성된 자가보고 질문지로 수집되었다. 자료 분석은 IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0을 사용하여 기술통계, 독립 t-검정(independent t-test), 분산분석(ANOVA), Pearson 상관계수(correlation coefficients) 및 다중회귀(multiple regression)로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 환자권리인식은 인권감수성(r=0.468, p<0.001), 자아존중감(r=0.264, p<0.001)과 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었고, 간호대학생의 환자권리인식에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학년(β=0.476, p<0.001), 인권감수성(β=0.233, p<0.001), 자아존중감(β=0.209, p<0.001), 인권교육의 필요(β=0.124, p=0.022)순이었으며, 이들 요인들은 환자권리인식을 47.6% 설명하였다. 결론적으로 간호대학생들의 환자권리인식을 증진시키기 위해 인권감수성과 자아존중감을 향상시킬 수 있는 학내․외 프로그램과 교수법을 다양하게 개발하고 학년에 따라 적용할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study was to identify the factors affecting perception of patients’ rights of nursing students. Data were collected from nursing students attending one colleges in B metropolitan, Gyeonsangnam-do and Gyeonsangbuk-do province. Data analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, Scheffé test, Pearson s correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. Perception of patient rights showed statistical differences according to age, grade, satisfaction of life, witness or experience situations related to patient rights, needs of education about human rights. Perception of patients’ rights was positively correlated with human rights sensitivity (r=0.468, p<0.001) and self-esteem (r=0.264, p<0.001). The affecting factors on perception of patients’ rights were grade (β=0.476), human rights sensitivity (β=0.233), self-esteem (β=0.209) and needs of education about human rights (β=0.124). These variables explained 47.6% of total variance on the perception of patients’ rights. Therefore, to enhance the perception of patients’ rights of nursing students, it is necessary to develop and implement experiential learning-based curriculum and comparative educational programs promoting human rights sensitivity and self-esteem.
