성·연령별 전출입자 수 적합모형 개발 연구

국문 초록

현재 우리나라의 인구는 ‘인구절벽’이라는 말을 실감할 수 있을 정도로 인구감소의 징후가 나타나고 있다. 인구의 감소는 지방자치단체 입장에서 정부로부터 받는 교부금과 지방세를 통한 재원 확보에 직접적인 영향을 주므로 인구의 규모를 유지하고 인구의 구조를 개선하는 것이 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 지방자치단체별 인구이동이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지를 파악할 수 있는 모형을 개발하는 것은 높은 시의성을 갖는다고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 생애주기 별로 국내인구이동요인을 고려한 성·연령별 전출입 수 적합모형을 개발하였다. 이 모형은 매개변수모형을 이용하여 개발하였으며, 생애주기별 이동요인의 의미파악과 예측모형으로의 확장이 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 모형의 개발을 위하여 2008년부터 2017년까지의 161개 시군의 성·연령별 전입자 수와 전출자 수 자료를 이용했으며, 모형을 이용한 분석 결과로 서울, 수도권 지역의 33개 시군에 대하여 제시하였다. 분석 결과에서 모형의 적합력이 우수함을 보였고, 남녀, 연령, 지역, 시간을 모두 고려함으로 인해 복잡할 수밖에 없는 인구이동 자료의 분석 결과를 효과적으로 제시할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

Currently, the nation s population is showing signs of population decline to the point where one can realize the word population barrier. As the decrease in the population directly affects the procurement of funds from the government through subsidies and local taxes, maintaining the size of the population and improving the structure of the population is emerging as an important issue for local governments. Under these circumstances, it is highly timely to develop a model that can identify how population migration is taking place for each local government. Therefore, in this study, a model was developed for the migrants by sex and age considering the factors of migration of the domestic population by life stage. This model was developed using a parametric model and has the advantage of being able to expand into a forecasting model and the meaning of the migration factors for each life stage. For the development of the model, data on the migrants by gender and age of 161 Si-gun 2008 to 2017 were used, and 33 Si-gun in Seoul metropolitan area were proposed as a result of analysis using the model.
