영문 초록

New Zealand universities offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Most standard Bachelor degrees across eight universities are three years in length,except for a few specific fields. The University of Auckland is the only New Zealand university that includes a General Education component in its undergraduate degrees. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the General Education programme available to University of Auckland undergraduate students. This paper also discusses the issues associated with General Education in New Zealand’s higher education in the global digital age.
