국문 초록

현대사회는 빠르게 산업화가 진행되며 물질적 풍요를 얻었다. 이제 환경문제는 전 인류가 함께 고민하고 해결해야 할 중요한 문제가 되었다. 이에 무분별한 에너지 소비를 줄이려는 노력이 디자인 단계부터 필요하다. 친환경에 대해 고려하고 소비에 있어서도 재사용을 고려한 업사이클링 리디자인 개념의 활용이 더욱 중요하게 되었다. 우리의 공예 분야는 계획, 개발, 제작, 후처리의 모든 프로세스 과정이 환경을 고려하고 자연에 순응하고자 하는 업사이클링이 지향하는 바와 비슷함을 알 수 있다. 이에 업사이클링 개념을 기초로 하여 섬유공예를 재조명 하고자 하며 이러한 과정은 교육 분야에서도 적극적으로 지도해야할 목적을 포함하고 있다. 본 연구는 가치관과 정체성이 확립된 섬유공예 전공 학생들을 대상으로 환경 문제의 심각성을 알고 섬유공예의 중요성을 인식하도록 한다. 그 방안으로 환경 배려적인 측면에서의 작품 및 제품 개발을 목적으로 한 업사이클링 사례분석을 통해 섬유공예 지도 방안을 제안하며 수업의 결과물을 전시로 마무리하는 과정을 제시함으로서 발전적이고 창의적인 수업을 진행할 수 있도록 하였다. 업사이클링 개념을 바탕으로 한 섬유공예 교육의 필요성과 중요성, 전공 교육의 차별화를 통해 학습자들이 환경을 배려하여 섬유제품을 제작하고 창조하는데 활용될 수 있도록 한다.

영문 초록

Modern society has been rapidly industrialized and scientific civilization has developed and material affluence has been gained. Environmental issues have become an important issue for the whole human race to contemplate and solve. Therefore, the effort to reduce the energy consumption indiscriminately was considered to be environmentally friendly from the design stage, and the use of the concept of the upcycling redesigner that considers reuse in consumption became more important. Our craft field is similar to the up-cycling of all process processes of planning, development, production, and post-processing, considering environment and adapting to nature. Based on the concept of up-cycling, we are going to re-examine the textile arts, and this process includes the right to be actively guided in the field of education. The purpose of this study is to understand the problems of environmental improvement and to recognize the importance of textile arts. As a result of this study, we propose a teaching method of textile craft learning that includes the concept of up-cycling for the purpose of developing products and works in the aspect of environment-consciousness, and present the process of finalizing the results of the class by exhibition or competition. So that it can proceed. The importance and necessity of textile craft education based on the concept of up-cycling and differentiation of the major education make it possible for the learner to be used to worry and communicate through the process of producing and creating textile products with consideration of the environment.
