명화와 연계한 유아요리활동 개발 및 교육적 의미 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 명화와 연계한 유아요리활동을 개발하고 적용하여 교육적 의미를 분석하였다. 유아들이 감상하기에 적합한 대표적인 명화들 중에서 음식 재료가 그려져있는 8개의 명화를 선정하여 사전활동으로 감상하고, 명화에서 표현된 음식재료들을 이용한 요리활동을 개발하여 본 활동으로 실시한 후 유아요리활동의 교육적 의미를 분석하였다. 연구 대상은 J시의 A유치원 만 5세 유아 20명이며, 8주에 걸쳐 명화와 연계한 유아요리활동을 적용하였다. 명화와 연계한 유아요리활동의 적용 결과에 대 한 분석 자료는 교사의 일과평가서이며, Lincoln과 Guba(1985)의 질적 연구방법에 의해 분석하였다. 자료분석 결과, ‘명화와 요리재료의 탐색을 통한 미적요소와 원리 인식하기, 명화 속 요리재료에 대한 다양한 요리 아이디어 표현하기, 미술과 다른 학 문 영역과의 통합적 학습 경험하기, 유아들 간 협력을 통한 문제 해결하기’와 같은 교육적 의미를 발견할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to suggest the educational meaning of the cooking activities connected to famous paintings for young children. After drawing the direction of cooking activities connected to famous paintings for young children through literature research, total of 24 activities were developed including pre-activities, main cooking activities connected to famous paintings, and post-activities. The subjects were 20 5-year-old children from A kindergarten located in J city and the cooking activities connected to famous paintings for young children were conducted through 8 weeks. Analysis materials to examine educational meaning are teachers’ journal and interview, and qualitative analysis method of Lincoln and Guba(1985) was used to analyse. As a result of research analysis, major finding were as follows : First, recognition of aesthetic elements and principles through active examining famous paintings and cooking materials, second, propose of interesting cooking ideas related to the food in the famous painting, third, providing of integral learning experience of art with other academic fields, and fourth, experience of problem-solving through cooperation between children.
