사례기반학습을 활용한 초등환경교육 교수·학습 방안

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등환경교육의 교수·학습 방법으로 사례기반학습을 활용하여 다양한 환경 사례를 통해 문제를 해결하는 사례기반학습용 교수·학습 구현 전략을 개발하고 실행 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 2009 개정 교육과정을 반영한 5∼6학년(군) 사회·도덕·과학·실과 교과서의 환경교육 관련 내용을 분석하고, 환경교육 내용영역과 시사점을 추출한 다음, 초등환경교육을 위한 사례기반학습용 교수·학습 구현 전략을 수립하였다. 연구 결과, 5∼6학년(군) 사회·도 덕·과학·실과 교과서에는 각 교과의 특성에 적합한 환경교육의 내용이 반영되어 있었다. 이러 한 교과별 환경교육 내용 분석을 근거로 하여 사례 개발 및 선정, 사례 분석, 사례 분석 활동지 고안, 사례기반학습의 절차 설계, 사례기반학습 교수·학습 과 정안 개발 순으로 사례기반학습용 교수·학습 구현 전략을 수립하였다. 그리고 사례 기반학습용 교수·학습 구현 전략에 따라 환경교육과 밀접한 관련이 있는 교과 및 창의적 체험활동 시간에 지도할 수 있는 사례기반학습용 교수·학습 과정안 개발 및 실 행 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 사례기반학습을 활용한 초등환경교육 수업 자료와 방안은 학습자 중심의 능동적인 학습을 이끌어 내어 환경에 대한 학습자 관심이나 동기를 유발하고, 나아가 다양한 환경문제에 대한 관심을 가지게 하여 환경교육 목표를 달성하는데 도움 자료가 될 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

This study sought the development of teaching-learning materials and teaching methods to implement an environmental education effectively in the field of elementary school. For this, it analyzed environment education related with contents for the 5th and 6th grade social study, ethics, science and practical arts textbook of 2009 revised elementary curriculum to extract environmental education contents and implications. Based on those, a teaching-learning implementation strategy based on case-based learning for elementary environmental education was established and then, suggested that the teaching-learning implementation methods can be used in curriculum time related to the environmental education closely, or create experiential activity time by integrating between subjects with environmental education contents to be effective in class. The conclusion gained through this study is as following. First, the textbooks of social, moral, scientific, and practical arts of 5th and 6th grade were reflected in contents of environmental education appropriately to the characteristics of each subject. Second, based on the analysis of the content of environmental education by each subject, the study has established a teaching and learning implementation strategy for case-based learning by case development/selection, case analysis, design of the case-based analysis activity sheet, design of the case based on learning process and development of teaching and learning process plan based on cases. Third, based on the teaching-learning implementation strategy for case-based learning, the study developed a case-based teaching and learning plan for teaching and learning that can be guided in curriculum closely related to environmental education and creative experience activities. This teaching-learning materials and implementation methods are likely to be helpful for attaining environmental education goals by attracting learner-centered active learning, inducing learner s interest and motivation to the environment, and for having further interest in various environmental problems.
