국문 초록

본 연구는 ‘창의적으로 수업하는 교사’의 특징과 배경을 탐구하는 연구이다. 이를 위해 학교현장의 교사들이 인정하는 ‘창의적으로 수업하는 교사’를 대상으로 생애사 적 사례 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구 결과, ‘창의적으로 수업하는 교사’는 초등학교 국어 수업을 하면서, ‘텍스트에 집중하기’를 기초로, ‘통권으로 수업하기’, ‘도전하기’, ‘함께 읽기’, ‘생각할 거리’ 등의 수업 전략을 사용하고, 결과적으로 ‘의미 있는 재미’ 를 만들어 내는 교사였다. 그리고 이러한 수업을 하는 교사의 배경 맥락은 ‘도전정 신’, ‘독서’, ‘생각하는 습관’, ‘공백기의 다양한 경험’ 등의 기반 요인의 토대 위에서, ‘학습 모임’, ‘기회 활용’ 등의 매개 요인이 작용한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로, 창의적으로 수업을 하는 교사의 세 가지 특징에 대해 논의하였는데, 비교적 뚜렷한 교육철학, 꾸준한 학습 기회, 여유의 경험 등이었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics and background of a teacher who gives creative lessons. For this, I conducted an interview with a teacher who gives creative lessons recognized by other teachers of provincially. According to the results of the research, the teacher basically started with concentrating on a text in elementary Korean language classes. And I found that he is the teacher who uses four distinctive instructional strategies; lessons in the whole book, to challenge, to read aloud the book together, stimulating thinking. These strategies lead to meaningful interest in classes. The background context of the teacher stems from his challenging spirit, reading habit, self-questioning habit, and variety of experience during the career break. Then participating the professional development meeting, and taking advantage of institutional opportunities act as an intermediary causes. On the basis of the results of this study, I discussed three attributes of the teacher who gives creative lessons. They are a clear educational philosophy, continuous learning opportunities, and taking time for a variety of experiences.
