‘약리학’수업의 팀기반학습 설계 및 운영사례

국문 초록

본 연구는 학생들의 능동적이고 협력적인 학습활동과 이에 따른 성과를 높이기 위한 팀기반학습을 ‘약리학’교과목에 재설계하고 운영한 과정을 제시하였다. 그리고 그 결과로 학습자의 태도와 행동의 변화와 관련된 학습자 수업참여와 자기조절학습 능력, 팀학습과 수업전반에 대한 만족도, 교수자의 변화를 확인하였다. 팀기반학습 적용 후 학생들은 학습자 수업참여에서 사전점수에 비해 사후점수에서 유의미한 향 상을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 자기조절학습능력에서는 인지전략의 ‘비판적 사고’와 자원관리전략의 ‘또래학습’이 사전점수에 비해 사후점수에서 유의미한 차이 를 보였다. 재설계된 팀기반학습을 경험한 후 학생들은 본 교과목에 대한 만족도는 비교적 높았고 학습의 이해도와 흥미를 갖는데 도움이 되었음을 보고하였다. 교수자 는 강의식 수업에 비해 수업준비의 양과 수업 후 피드백에 대한 부담이 높았지만 학 습자 수준의 이해 및 효과적인 교육성과를 통해 교수자로써 효능감을 높일 수 있었 다고 보고하였다. 본 연구는 재설계된 팀기반학습 설계과정과 실제운영과정에 대해 상세히 기술하고 운영에서 드러난 한계점 및 교육적 함의에 대해 논의하며 덧붙여 대학에서의 성공적인 팀기반학습 설계 및 운영에 대한 제안을 하였다.

영문 초록

This study suggested the process of redesign and manage of Team-Based Learning on pharmacology to improve active and cooperative learning activities of students and their academic outcomes. Also, it identified changes of ‘learners’ participation in class’ and ‘the self-regulated learning ability’ regarding attitudes and behavior of students, students’ satisfaction about learning activities as a team and this class in general, and changes of a instructor as the results. After applying Team-based Learning, students showed significant improvement on learners participation in class between before and after class. There were significant differences at critical thinking of the cognitive strategies section and peer tutoring of the student management of different resources section in the self-regulated learning ability. Through the experience of these class, students satisfaction about this learning was relatively high and they reported that this learning contributed to have understanding and interests in study. The instructor indicated that understanding of the level of students and effective learning outcomes increased teacher s efficacy as the instructor, although Team-based Learning gave her a big burden to prepare for instruction and to give feedback to students after instruction compared to lecture classes. This study describes details the process of redesign of the Team-based Learning course and actual operation, discusses exposed limitations during operation and educational implication, and also gives suggestions for the successful Team-based Learning design and operation.
