국문 초록

본 연구는 2009 개정에 따른 체육과 초등학교 검정교과서의 기계체조 교육내용을 전문 체조인 출신인 연구자의 시각과 현장교사의 시각을 결부시켜 내용체계와 지식 체계의 타당성을 비교?분석하는 것이다. 6개의 출판사에서 보급한 4학년 동작 도전 활동 영역을 대상으로 내용분석(document analysis)하고, 3명의 연구 참여교사와의 집단면담 등 질적 패턴으로 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구결과 각 교과서의 단 원은 2-6개로 구성되어 있으며 매트, 뜀틀, 평균대 등의 구체적인 종목을 언급하거나 관련된 신체적, 정의적 요인으로 소단원을 제시하였다. 삽화와 사진은 과거에 비 해 과제에 대한 시각화를 보다 세밀하게 안내하고 있었으나 수행과제에 대한 정확 성이 떨어진다거나 올바른 기계체조의 지도방법에 반하는 오류를 발견할 수도 있었 다. 현장적합성 검토에서는 학생들이 학습과제를 수행하는데 있어 불가능한 동작과 기술들이 제시되거나 안내된 과제수행 과정과 정반대되는 현상도 발견할 수 있었다. 검정교과서의 오류를 최소화하고 보고 싶은 교과서가 되기 위해서는 교과서 개발 과정에서 전문가 집단과 정보를 공유하고 경제적인 지원이 뒤따라야 하겠다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the validities of contents systems and knowledge systems in the elementary school authorized textbooks of physical education according to 2009 revision by combining the viewpoint of this researcher who was once an elite gymnast and that of teachers in the actual field of education. To attain the goal, this researcher performed document analysis on the areas of fourth-grade challenging motions contained in the textbooks supplied by six publishing companies and collected and analyzed data with qualitative patterns such as a group interview to three teacher participants. According to the study results, each of the textbooks was composed of two to six units, and they mention detailed events such as the mat, horse, and balance beam or present subunits with related physical and affective factors. Illustrations and pictures contained in them provide the visualization of tasks more precisely than in the past; however, sometimes, their accuracy about the tasks is rather low or they show some errors of giving instructions that are not right for apparatus gymnastics. About the examination of site appropriateness, they sometimes present impossible motions or techniques regarding tasks to be done by students or show things that are opposite to the guided process of task performance. In order to minimize errors in authorized textbooks and make textbooks that students are eager to see, it will be needed to provide more financial support and also share information with expert groups in the process of developing textbooks.
