국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니들이 유아교육기관 선택 속성의 중요도와 수행도 인식의 수준 및 상대적으로 높게 인식되는 중요도와 수행도의 도출, 그리고 경영학의 IPA 기업을 적용하여 학부모가 요구하는 선택속성에 대해 유아교육기관이 우선적으로 개선해야 할 요인을 도출하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 전국의 어머니 408명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 학부모가 가장 중요하게 생각하는 선택 속성은 안전관리와 위생급식 요인으로 나타났으며, 수행도가 가장 낮다고 인식하는 선택속성은 부모교육 요인으로 나타났다. IPA 기업을 적용한 분석결과 전반적으로 모든 선택속성은 저순위의 개선을 요구받는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 구체적으로 분석한 결과 어린이집은 모든 선택속성에서 전반적인 저순위의 개선을 요구받고 있었고, 유치원은 안전관리 요인이 우선순위의 개선을 요구받고 있었다. 또한 광역시 지역과 시, 군 지역의 유아교육기관은 안전관리 요인과 위생급식 요인의 개선을 우선적으로 요구받고 있었다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 효과적인 유아교육기관 개선의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was aimed at classifying the properties regarded to be relatively important and recognized as a high performance level when mothers choose the children education institute, and deducting factors that shall be preferentially improved by the children education and care institutions depending on the selection properties demanded by parents by applying IPA technique in terms of business. For the purpose, the study conducted a survey on 408 mothers from June 13 to 17, 2017. The result showed that the selection properly regarded to be most important by the parents is safety management and hygienic meal service. The property considered to have the lowest performance level is the parents education factor. The analysis with IPA technique applied showed that all selection properties were required to improve every low-level factor while the safety management factor of a kindergarten was required to improve the high-level factors. Moreover, the children education and care institutions in metropolitan cities, cities and counties areas are required to improve the safety management factor and hygienic meal service factor first. The result can be used as basic data for effective improvement of children education institutions.
