학습공동체 기반 초등 영어과 교육실습 프로그램 구안과 적용 사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비 초등교사와 실습지도교사가 함께하는 학습공동체 기반 초등 영어과 교육실습 프로그램을 구안·적용하여 학습공동체의 형성과 예비교사의 전문성 개발을 위해 학습공동체에서 이루어지는 주요 활동 및 그 특징들을 6주 동안을 통해 살펴보았다. 학습공동체 기반 교육실습 프로그램을 3개월 동안에 걸쳐 요구조사와 델파이 조사를 통해 수업계획 영역’, ‘수업실천 영역’, ‘수업성찰 영역’, ‘초등영어교사 가치관 및 업무 영역’과 같이 4개의 대영역, 22개의 중영역, 42개의 세부영역으로 구안·적용하였고 그 결과 본 연구에서 학습공동체는 첫째, 교육실습생과 실습지도교사의 학습공동체는 자발적이고 자기주도적인 형태의 협력으로 형성되고 있음을 보여 주었고 둘째, 교육실습생과 실습지도교사의 학습공동체는 지속적 협력이 중요하다는 것을 드러내었다. 끝으로 교육실습생과 실습지도교사의 학습공동체는 지식의 공유로부터 현장의 실천, 그리고 경험적 지식과 수정된 실천을 순환적으로 잇는 실천적 협력을 보여주었다. 이를 통해 학습공동체는 연구 참여자들에게 영어 수업에 대한 구체적이고 의미 있는 경험과 성장의 기회를 제공하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of the teaching practicum based on a learning community with preservice teachers and cooperating teachers for teaching English at elementary schools and to contemplate the significance as a factor that contributes to the teachers specialty development. It was administered via survey and interview, targeting 44 junior college students of the teaching practice program at the Teachers University A and 9 cooperating teachers as for the need analysis and the Delphi method. And it was also examined a qualitative research method for 6 preserive teachers and 1 cooperating teacher for six weeks of 16 lesson plan administration. As a result, the learning community could be characterized as a cooperative relationships of knowledge sharing and practice. And the participants tried to identify themselves through participatory practice toward problems in the setting within the learning community, and to improve their growth through community. The participants tried to share knowledge and information that needed in the English class with community members and to modeling themselves. This study contributes for participants to provide a practical and meaningful experience of English teaching at elementary school setting.
