국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육 현장에서 교사의 경험속에 나타난 유아의 문제행동에 대한 양상과 그 의미를 탐색해 보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 수집된 자료는 2014년 2월부터 2015년 1월까지 P유치원 만5세 담임교사를 연구참여자로 선정하여 심층면담을 중심으로 비참여관찰과 교사저널 등의 참조자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 김교사의 경험속에 나타난 문제행동의 양상은 생활지도 대상으로서의 문제행동, 부모교육의 대상으로서의 문제행동, 개인적 감정이 섞이도록 하는 대상으로서의 양상으로 드러났다. 둘째, 김교사의 유아 문제행동에 대한 변화는 유아 개인에 대한 이해의 폭 확장, 교육에 대한 탈맥락적 사고로의 전환, 교사 자신의 전문성 신장의 기회로 이어졌다. 이는 유아의 문제행동을 경험하는 교사를 위한 보다 다양한 지원체계가 필요함을 시사하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the meaning of the problem behaviors of children based on the experience of teacher in kindergarten and her understanding of it. A research question was posed: What is the meaning of the problem behaviors of children according to the experience of early childhood teacher who participate in this study? For this, the researcher had in-depth interviews with the early childhood and did non-participant observation. Further, the data included teacher s journals and by gathering reference materials from February 17, 2014 to January 16, 2015. The main findings concerning the early childhood teacher s experience were as follow: First, life guidance target of behavioral problems, parent education as the target problem behavior, target of the behavior problems that mixed personal feelings. Second, wide expansion of the understanding of individual children, transition to ride the context of thinking about education, discovery of teacher professional development. On the basis of these findings, this study implied that it s required to take diverse approaches to the problem behaviors of children for teachers, and a more specific support system was necessary to accomplish this.
