청각장애인의 관광활동 만족이 삶의 질과 행위의도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

관광은 삶의 질을 추구하는 현대인들에게 적합한 문화트랜드로서 자리잡아가고 있으며, 나아가 그동안 사회적으로 소외되었던 계층, 특히 장애인의 관광활동 참여에 대한 관심도 높아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 청각장애인들을 대상으로 그들의 관광활동 참여가 삶의 질과 행위의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 파악하고자 하였으며, 그리하여 아래의 3가지 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 청각장애인의 관광활동 만족은 삶의 질에 일부 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 청각장애인들이 관광활동과는 무관하게 스스로 인지하고 있는 신체적 장애로 인한 핸디캡(handicap)과 사회적 편견(social prejudice)으로 인해 자아성취와 대인관계 면에서 유사한 반응을 보였다. 둘째, 청각장애인의 관광활동 만족은 관광활동 후의 행위의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 장애인들이 일반적으로 자기중심적, 자기억제, 사회화 부족 등 그들만의 행동규범과 가치관을 보임에도 불구하고, 청각장애인들은 관광활동을 통해 지각하는 심리적인 풍요로움과 가치, 여유로움을 통한 만족도가 높을수록 재관광활동과 활동추천 의사도 높아지는 것을 보여주었다. 셋째, 청각장애인들의 관광활동 만족을 통한 삶의 질은 행위의도 중 활동추천에만 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 청각장애인 스스로가 사회적 소외와 문화적 차이로 겪는 어려움으로 인해 삶의 질과 재관광활동을 연계시키지 못했기 때문인 것으로 보인다. 본 연구는 관광활동 만족이 삶의 질과 행위의도에 미치는 영향을 부분적으로만 확인하는 한계를 보였는데, 이는 청각장애인들이 수화를 통한 설문문항에 대한 이해력의 부족을 배제할 수 없으므로 차후 연구에서는 전문가 참여를 통한 심도 있는 연구결과를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Tourism is cultural trend with modem well-being oriented people. The alienated, especially the handicapped tourism activities were focused on the tourism study. In this study, we tried to find out influences on tourism activities to the quality of life and behavioral intention of the Hearing-impaired Person So we found out three facts as follows. 1st, tourism activities satisfaction of the Hearing-impaired Person positively influence to the quality of life, but with physical handicap and social prejudice no significant differences tourism activities and self-achievement, personal relationship. 2nd, tourism activities satisfaction of the Hearing-impaired Person positively influence to behavioral intentions after tourism activities. In spite of the egoistic, self-constrained, sociality insufficiency of the handicapped, especially the hearing-impaired person shows that the better tourism activities satisfaction the higher repeat and recommendation. Finally, tourism activities satisfaction of the Hearing-impaired Person positively influence to recommendation of behavioral intentions due to social alienation and cultural discrepancy of the Hearing-impaired Person. But this study has limitation of partial verification the relationship among tourism activities satisfaction and quality of life, behavioral intentions due to partially lack of questionnaire understanding. So we expect the developed and deepen studies participated with chirologist.
