고진하 시에 나타난 만유재신론적 생태주의 연구

국문 초록

이 논문에서는 고진하의 시 가운데, 『우주배꼽』 이후 시를 대상으로 생태계 위기와 관련하여 종교적 사유를 논의했다. 그 결과 만유재신론적 생태주의가 도출되었다. 그의 작품에 나타난 초탈과 돌파, 소멸과 생성의 순환성, 비구분의 신화적 생태계는 '하나'의 창조주를 지향하는 가운데, 생태주의의 유기체적 특성과 통한다. 먼저, 그의 시에 나타나는 초탈과 돌파는 에크하르트의 영성적 사유를 반영하며, 각 개체에 내재한 창조주의 탄생을 지향함으로써, 전일성의 의미를 창출한다. 에크하르트의 사유는 전통신학의 이분법적 사유에 대해 비판적 관점을 견지하는 가운데, '하나'인 창조주를 지향함으로써 유기체적 생태계에 대한 이해와 상응하는 것이다. 이러한 특성은 '생성과 소멸'의 창조적 순환성으로 이어진다. 창조주의 창조는 최초의 창조로 끝나지 않고 생태계 내 생명현상으로서 지속적인 창조의 양상을 보인다. 만유재신론적 관점에서 보는 생태계의 생명현상은 창조주의 영성이 내재한 가운데 지속적으로 순환하며 발현하는 것이다. 마지막으로, 비구분의 신화적 생태계에서는 그의 시에서 나타나는 각 생명체끼리의 소통 뿐 아니라, 무기물 간의 소통, 무기물과 사물의 영성적 작용을 논의했다. 창조주의 피조 세계는 인간을 포함한 만유, 사물까지 상호 조화를 이루는 신화적 생태공동체로서 각 개체끼리 상호 교응하면서 생명현상을 거듭한다는 것이다.

영문 초록

This paper presents a discussion about Ko Jin-ha's religious thinking related to ecological crises by examining post-the universe, the navel poems of his own. Identifying panentheistic ecologism in his poetry, the study found that transcendence and breakthrough, circulation of extinction and creation, and non-discriminative mythical ecosystem oriented themselves toward "one" Creator and corresponded with the organic characteristics of ecologism in his works. First, transcendence and breakthrough reflect Eckhart's spiritual thinking in his poems, generating the meanings of wholeness by orienting themselves toward the birth of Creator inherent in each individual. Eckhart's thinking maintains a critical view of the dichotomous thinking of traditional theology and pursues Creator of "oneness," corresponding with the understanding of organic ecosystem. Those characteristics lead to the creative circulation of "creation and extinction." Creation by Creator does not end with the creation of the first ecosystem but shows the patterns of ongoing creation. The life phenomena of the ecosystem from the panentheistic perspective present continuous circulation and manifestation with the inherent spirituality of Creator. Finally, the section on the non-discriminative mythical ecosystem discussed communication among inorganic matters and spiritual actions between inorganic matters and objects as well as communication among each living creature in his poems. The world of created things by Creator is a mythical ecological community, in which all creations including human beings and all things strike mutual harmony among them, with each individual mutually interacting with each other and repeating life phenomena.
