국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 독도를 연구대상으로 하여 독도교육의 실태를 조사·분석하고, 이를 토대로 독도교육의 문제점을 도출하며, 도출된 문제점을 평가함으로써 독도교육의 발전방향을 제시하는 것이었다. 조사대상을 경일대학교로 한정하였고, 시간적 범위는 2006년 3월부터 현재까지로, 공간적 범위는 국내로, 내용적 범위는 독도교육의 평가와 발전방향을 제시하는 것으로 한정하였다. 또한, 접근방법은 역사적 접근방법을, 조사방법은 문헌조사법과 사례조사법을, 분석방법은 기술적(記述的) 분석방법을 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 경일대학교 부동산지적학과와 독도·간도교육센터의 독도교육은 다채로운 체험교육(탐방교육, 독도모형설명교육, 독도퍼즐대회, 독도골든벨대회, 특수교육) 등을 통해 학생들의 학습의욕을 고취시키고, 적극적인 참여를 유도함으로써 수강생들에게 높은 평가를 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 독도교육의 발전방향을 제시하면 첫째, 독도적보의 표준화·체계화·현대화가 시급하고 둘째, 독도교육을 위한 다양한 교육재 개발이 요구되며, 셋째, 독도교육의 방향(내용, 방법)이 명확하게 정립될 필요가 있었다. 넷째, 독도 전문가의 양성이 시급하고 다섯째, 독도에 관련된 내용 및 정보들이 각종 기업체 입사시험 등에 지문 형식 등으로 축제될 수 있는 방안이 모색되어야 하며 여섯째, 기업체 연수원, 교육원 등에 독도강좌 개설을 유도하는 방안이 요구되는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the current situation of Dokdo education and based on the finding, draw out problems and suggest the direction of its development by evaluating the problems. The target of the study was limited to Kyungil University and the time scope was from March 2006 to the present. The study's spatial scope was limited to Korea and the scope the content was limited to evaluating Dokdo education and suggesting the direction of its development. As for the research method, historical approach, literature investigation, case studies and descriptive analysis were used. As a result of the study, it was found that Department of Real Estate & Cadastrology and Dokdo & Gando Education Center are motivating students through various experience educations (Inspection Education, Dokdo Model Illustration, Dokdo Puzzel Competition, Dokdo Golden Bell Competition, Special Education) The university is inducing students to actively participate in variety of programs and it is getting good evaluation from the participants. The suggested development direction of Dokdo education is as follows; First, standardization, systematization and modernization of the information on Dokdo are urgently needed. Second, development of various education material for Dokdo education is required. Third, the direction of Dokdo education (contents and methods) need to be clearly defined. Fourth, nurturing of Dokdo experts is urgently needed. Fifth, we should search for the ways where Dokdo related questions can be asked in the entrance examination of corporations. Sixth, we need to induce corporations' training and education centers to hold Dokdo related lectures.
