발달장애인 대상 통합예술치료의 국내 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 학위논문 28편과 학술논문 13편을 조사하여 발달장애인 대상 통합예술치료의 국내 연구 동향을 분석하였다. 첫째, 연도별 동향은 1999년에 국내 최초 연구 이후 한두 편씩 나타나다가 2017년도부터 매해 평균 3편씩 유지되었다. 둘째, 연구 대상은 아동기가 가장 많았고, 참여방식은 2～6명 소그룹에 주1～2회씩 총 25회기 프로그램 구성이 가장 많았다. 셋째, 배경 이론은 2008년 이전에는 인지심리와 대상관계 이론이 주류였고, 그 이후 게슈탈트 이론 기반의 통합예술치료 모델들이 나타났다. 통합된 단일예술매체의 개수는 3개 이상이 대부분이었고, 미술, 음악, 무용 순으로 많았으며 놀이, 문학, 연극, 영상, 요리 등도 있었다. 넷째, 연구 방법은 혼합연구가 가장 많았고, 집단대상이 단일사례보다 2배 이상 많았다. 분석 도구는 관찰일지 외 보호자 설문지, 기록영상 및 사진, 대상자의 자기 보고식 일기, 연구자의 반성적 저널 순으로 나왔다. 양적 검사 도구는 영역별로 진단, 언어, 행동, 정서, 사회성의 척도가 사용되었는데 예술매체 검사 도구가 적어서 향후 개발의 필요성이 발견되었다. 다섯째, 연구들에서 언어, 행동, 정서, 사회성의 영역 전반에 개선 효과가 나타났다. 이는 발달장애인의 특수성을 고려한 통합 예술치료의 효용적 가치를 보여준다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed domestic research trends in integrated arts therapy for individuals with developmental disabilities by reviewing 28 theses and 13 academic journals. First, the annual trends showed that after the first domestic study in 1999, one or two studies appeared; since 2017, an average of three studies have been published each year. Second, most participants were children, typically in small groups of 2-6, with 1-2 weekly sessions over 25 total sessions. Third, early studies focused on cognitive psychology and object relations theory, but since 2008, Gestalt-based integrated arts therapy models have emerged. Most programs integrated three or more art forms, with visual arts, music, and dance being the most common, followed by play, literature, drama, film, and cooking. Fourth, mixed-method research was common, with group studies being more than twice as frequent as single-case studies. Analysis tools included observation logs, caregiver surveys, recorded videos and photos, self-reported diaries, and researchers' reflective journals. Quantitative tools included diagnostic, language, behavioral, emotional, and sociality scales, but the lack of art media tools highlighted the need for future development.. Fifth, the studies showed improvements in language, behavior, emotions, and sociality skills. This demonstrates the effectiveness of integrated arts therapy in addressing the specific needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
