국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 교사발달단계에 따른 중등 특수교사의 체육교과 운영 경험 및 지원요구를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 중·고등학교에 재직 중인 특수교사 300명을 대상으로 설문지를 배부하였고, 회수된 총 148부의 응답 데이터를 분석하였다. 연구 결과첫째, 148명의 특수교사 중 93명이 체육교과 운영 경험이 있으며 체육활동을 통해 가치 및 태도, 기본 움직임 및 스포츠 기술 습득과 학생의 정서적 안정 꾀하고자 하였다. 교수형태와 평가 방법에서 초보교사는 단독 교수 및 직접 평가인 반면 고참교사는 외부 강사 주도/특수교사 보조 형태 그리고 직접 평가뿐 아니라 외부 강사 평가도실시한 것으로 나타났으며, 대부분의 특수교사는 추후 체육교과를 운영할 의향이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 체육교과를 운영하지 않은 이유로는 업무 부담 가중, 운영 예산 부족, 구성원 간 협조의 어려움으로 나타났다. 둘째, 체육교과 운영을위해 충분한 장소, 시설, 기자재 제공, 학교 및 지역사회 구성원 간 협력, 연수 기회순으로 요구가 높았고 연수 기회 제공과 학생의 추수 지도, 지역 연계 체제 구축에서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze secondary special education teachers' experiences in operating physical education and support needs according to their stage of teacher development. To this end, a questionnaire was distributed to 300 special education teachers working in secondary schools, and the data from 148 returned responses were analyzed. The results of the study showed that 93 of the 148 special education teachers had experience in operating physical education, and they aimed to have their students acquire values and attitudes, basic movement and sports skills, and emotional stability through physical education activities. In terms of teaching form and evaluation method, novice teachers used solo teaching and direct evaluation, while experienced teachers used external instructor-led/specialist-assisted form and direct evaluation as well as external instructor evaluation, and most of the special education teachers were willing to operate physical education in the future. Lastly, the reasons for not operating physical education were heavy workload, lack of operating budget, and difficulty of cooperation among members. Second, in order to operate physical education, the needs of providing sufficient space, facilities, and equipment, cooperation among school and community members, and training opportunities were high, and statistically significant differences were found in providing training opportunities, offering follow-up services for students and establishing a local cooperation system.
