키워드 네트워크 분석 방법을 활용한 유아교육에서의 디지털 관련 연구 동향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육에서의 디지털 관련 연구들을 수집하고 핵심 키워드와 키워드들간의 연결을 분석하여 어떠한 변화가 나타나고 있는지 파악하기 위하여 키워드 네트워크 분석방법으로 연구의 동향을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 학술데이터베이스(RISS, KCI, KISS)에서 유아 디지털, 미디어, 스마트, 멀티미디어, 에듀테크 등의 주제어로 검색한 후 수집한 학술 논문 661편에서 키워드를 추출하였다. 추출한 키워드를 정제한 후 키워드의 출현 빈도 분석과 네트워크 시각화 분석, 중심성 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 유아 디지털 관련 연구들은 2011년 이후로 지속적으로 증가하는 추세를 보이고 있었으며, ‘활용’, ‘유아’, ‘미디어’, ‘인식’, ‘유아교사’, ‘디지털’ 등이주요 키워드로 나타났다. 둘째, 시기별로 이루어진 연구물들의 흐름을 살펴본 결과,디지털 전환에 따른 교육 패러다임의 변화에 따라 ‘멀티미디어’, ‘스마트’, ‘디지털’, ‘활용’에 주목하여 다양한 연구가 이루어졌으며, 최근에는 ‘디지털’과 ‘놀이’, ‘역량’ 등이핵심 키워드로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 디지털 사회를 살아갈 교사와 유아를 지원하기 위한 다양한 측면에 대한 고려와 후속 연구 방향 설정에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the trends in research related to digital aspects in early childhood education by collecting relevant research and conducting keyword network analysis to understand the evolving connections among key terms. The goal was to identify any changes or emerging patterns in research on digital technology and young children. The goal was to identify any emerging patterns or changes in the field of research on young children and digital technology. To achieve this, a total of 661 academic papers were collected from scholarly databases (RISS, KCI, KISS) by searching for keywords such as 'young children digital', 'media', 'smart', 'multimedia', and 'edutech'. Keywords were extracted from these papers after refinement. The analysis included frequency distribution, network visualization, and centrality analysis of the extracted keywords. The research findings are as follows: The research findings indicate, firstly, that studies related to digital technology and young children have shown a consistent increase in trends since 2011. Key keywords such as 'utilization,' 'young children,' 'media,' 'perception,' 'early childhood educators,' and 'digital' emerged as prominent in this research. Secondly, an examination of the research trends over different time periods revealed that studies have increasingly focused on the 'utilization' of 'multimedia', 'smart', and 'digital' technologies, driven by shifts in educational paradigms due to digital transformation. Recently, 'digital', 'play', 'competence' have emerged as central keywords. The outcomes of this study provide valuable insights for educators and children navigating the digital society, aiding in various aspects of support and guiding future research directions.
