미술과 교육에서의 인성교육 강화 수업, 논의와 실제

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 미술과 교육에서의 인성중심 수업 강화를 위한 논의와 실제를 미술의 본질적 인 특성을 중심으로 살펴본다. 우선 미술, 미술교과 내용이 그 본질적이고 고유한 특성으로 인간 발달에 기여할 수 있는 바를 인성교육 관점에서 논의하고, 이러한 관점이 반영된 교과 서 내용을 선정하여 인성교육 강화를 위한 접근 방식을 제시한다. 연구 내용은 다음의 논점 에서 전개된다. 첫째, 미적 감수성과 도덕적 예민성, 미적 의식과 윤리적 의식과의 상관관계 를 논하고 이를 구현하는 수업 내용을 제시한다. 둘째, 미술에서의 창조와 해석의 고유성으로 개성, 자아존중감을 향상시킬 수 있다는 논의와 이를 구현하는 수업을 제시한다. 셋째, 현대 미술의 다양성을 통해 개방성, 비판적 사고를 향상시키는 인성교육을 실현할 수 있다는 논의 와 이를 구현하는 수업 내용을 제시한다. 넷째, 시각문화의 비평적 읽기를 통해 비판적 사고, 도덕적 판단력을 높일 수 있다는 논의와 이를 구현하는 수업 내용을 살펴본다. 다섯째, 미술 이미지와의 대화는 자신에 대한 성찰의 기회를 주어 인성교육을 실현한다는 논의와 그 수업 내용을 살펴본다. 이어서 교과서에서 인성 교육 내용을 명료하게 드러내야 하며, 이를 수업에 서 의미 있게 엮어내기 위해서는 교사의 능력이 전제되므로 지속적인 교사 교육이 필요하다 는 제언을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

This paper examines discussions and practices in character reinforcement-centered art education, focusing on the characteristics of the nature of art. First, it is discussed, in terms of character education, about what the unique and natural characteristics of the contents of art subject can contribute to human development. Next, the lesson contents reflecting this view are selected and teaching approaches to the contents are suggested. The discussions are presented with five suggestions for the lesson contents that: (1) embody from a discussion about the mutual relationship between aesthetic sensitivity and moral sensibility, and between aesthetic awareness and ethical awareness; (2) plan discussions on how the uniqueness of creation and interpretation in art can promote self-esteem, followed by instructions that embody the discussions; (3) conduct character education that can develop openness, critical thinking; (4) carry out the discussion that critical reading of a visual culture can promote critical thinking and moral judgement ; and (5) conduct discussions on how communicating with art images can give opportunities to reflect on oneself and practice character education. From these ways that reinforce the lessons centered on character in art subject, there are two implications. They are: (1) the art textbooks and curriculum should reveal the contents that contain moral lessons for character education, as well as the nature of art(education) ; and (2) it is necessary to continue teacher training education that help teachers understand the nature of art education and the appropriate teaching contents and methods.
