창조적 미술표현에 나타나는 미적탐구로써 문제해결의 교육적 의미

국문 초록

미술은 사회적인 존재로서 세계 내에서 자신을 드러내는 또 하나의 언어이다. 표현을 위해서 는 매 순간 자신이 의도하는 것에 적합성을 판단 할 수 있어야 한다. 듀이는 예술가의 탐구 과정은 반성적인 사고를 통해 이루어진다고 강조하고, 이를 질적인 사유로 보았다. 문제를 사 고하고 해결로 향하는 것은 창초적인 것이다. 더 나은 새로운 가치를 향하기 때문이다. 창조 적인 미술행위는 미적인 탐구로써 완성되는 경험의 의미와 닮아 있다. 본 연구는 아동의 미술표현을 창조적인 성격을 지닌 미적인 탐구활동으로 보고, 표현활동에서 표 현의 주체가 학습자임을 재삼 강조하였으며 학습자의 문제 해결과정은 미적인 탐구활동으로 보았 다. 그러므로 아동의 미적의도와 목적성에 관심을 가져야 함을 강조하였다. 또한 미적탐구로써 문 제해결 과정과 해결은 의미적인 경험이며 미적 성장과 관련한다고 보았다. 이러한 성장은 융합적 인 관계들을 파악하고, 앎의 이해로 능동적으로 나아가는 안목의 성장인데 반성적인 사고와 지각 적인 검증과정을 지속할 수 있는 능동적인 자아로부터 비롯되는 것임을 지적하였다.

영문 초록

Art is another language that one expresses himself as a social being in a world. He should be able to verify the adequacy of his judgement with his intension in each moment. Dewey emphasized that Artist’s inquiry process is done by reflective thinking and he viewed it as qualitative thinking. Finding and solving a problem towards a resolution have creative quality. Because it heads toward a better and noble value. Act of creation has a resemblance with an experience completed through aesthetic inquiry. This research viewed children’s art expression as an aesthetic inquiry with creative quality and emphasized again that children are the subject of their expression and that children’s problem solving is an aesthetic inquiry. Therefore, it placed emphasis on children’s aesthetic intension and purpose. And problem solving as aesthetic inquiry in Art is like meaningful experience and is related to the aesthetic growth. This kind of growth finds meaning of integrated relations, develops a discernment towards a knowledge and is initiated by an active-self with a reflective thinking and process of verifying his perception.
