간호 대학생의 장애인에 대한 경험이 장애인에 대한 인식과 태도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 간호 대학생의 장애인에 대한 경험에 따른 장애인에 대한 인식과 태도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 G시에 소재한 간호 대학생 214명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 서술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Person’s correlation coefficients을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 장애인 접촉과 장애인 체험이 있는 경우에는 장애인에 대한 인식과 태도가 긍정적으로 향상되었으나, 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 장애인 자원봉사 경험이 있는 경우, 장애인에 대한 인식(t=-3.00, p=.003)과 장애인에 대한 태도(t=-2.20, p=.029)가 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다. 또한, 장애인에 대한 인식과 태도는 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다(r=.628, p<.001). 이를 기초로 간호 대학생들에게 다양한 방법으로 장애인에 대한 접촉 및 봉사활동을 장려하는 프로그램 개발 및 경험을 증가시켜 장애인에 대한 인식과 태도를 긍정적으로 향상시켜야 할 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of nursing students perceptions and attitudes toward persons with disabilities on the experience of persons with disabilities. The subjects of this study were 214 nursing students in G city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and Person s correlation coefficients using the SPSS 23.0 program. The results of the study showed that the perceptions and attitudes of persons with disabilities were improved positively in case of persons with disabilities and persons with disabilities, but there was no statistically significant difference. In the case of volunteers with disabilities, there was a statistically significant improvement in the perception of the disabled(t=-3.00, p=.003) and the attitude toward the disabled(t=-2.20, p=.029). In addition, there was a significant positive correlation (r=.628, p<.001) on perceptions and attitudes toward the disabled. Based on this, nursing students should increase their contact experience with disabled people in various ways and positively improve their perceptions and attitudes toward persons with disabilities.
