건축마감재 활용을 위한 천연 숯의 단열 특성 기초 연구

국문 초록

최근 생활 주거환경과 건강에 대한 사회적인 관심이 높아지면서 인체에 유해한 화학물질을 함유하고 있는 건축 자재를 대신하여 인체에 무해하며 건강유지에도 도움을 줄 수 있는 천연재료를 사용한 친환경적인 건축재료 및 자재개발에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 그동안 사용되어왔던 일부 건축물의 실내 마감 재료들은 주거환경 성능 충족에 있어 문제점을 가 지고 있는 바, 기존의 연구에 따르면 일부의 표면피복 재료나 보수재료로부터 휘발성 오염물질이 발생하여 인체에 유해한 영향을 준다고 연구되고 있다. 이에 따라 건축 분야에서도 황토, 천연 숯 등의 우리 전통재료의 과학적 규명에 노력하고 있으며, 우리 전통의 천연재료를 활용한 건축자재 개발에대한 연구가 활발해 지고 있다. 본 연구는 기존의 흡착, 항균, 원적외선 방사, 흡음 등의 성능에서 나아가 천연 숯을 혼입한 모르타르의 건축마감재가 가지는 단열성능을 조사하여 실내 건축마감재로의 활용 가능성을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

Nowadays, there are much more social interests on the eco-friendly architectural materials which is not harmful to human and can give some help to maintain good health to the resident in those housing, instead of the harmful containing chemical hazard materials, in trend of increasing interest on the human health and residential environment. There have been reported that a kind of some architectural finishing material that has been used for the interior housing as commonly, emits volatile pollutants which is seriously harmful to human body such as formaldehyde, Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs). In this reason, there are many studies on the development of eco-friendly material based on the Korean traditional technology and material, such as Korean charcoal through the scientific analyses in architectural engineering. In this study, we reviewed the applicability of three types of Korean charcoal (black charcoal, white charcoal, activated charcoal) into interior housing material through the experiment of insulation capacity of those, which have not been considered before.
