집단미술치료가 저소득층 청소년의 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구는 집단미술치료가 저소득층 청소년의 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 C시의 지역아동센터를 이용하고 있는 저소득층 청소년 15명을 대상으로 하였다. 집단미술치료는 2023년 1월 12일에서 2월 28일까지 주 2회, 회기당 100분씩 총 11회기를 실시하였다. 이들의 회복탄력성의 변화를 알아보기 위해 회복탄력성 검사(KRQ)를 사전, 사후로 실시하여 대응표본 t-test로 검증하였다. 검증 결과 집단미술치료가 저소득층 청소년의 회복탄력성에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 행동변화에서도 초기에 자신감이 부족하고 자신의 생각과 감정을 조절하며 적절하게 표현하지 못하고, 규칙을 잘 따르지 않았으며, 또래관계에서도 잦은 갈등을 나타냈다. 하지만, 집단미술치료프로그램에 참여하면서 규칙을 따르거나 친구들을 이해하고 배려하는 등의 긍정적인 행동변화를 보였다. 이는 다양한 미술매체를 활용한 집단미술치료가 저소득층 청소년의 회복탄력성을 향상시켜 이들이 겪는 다양한 스트레스를 극복하고 건강하게 성장하도록 돕는데 효과가 있음을 입증하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of group art therapy on the resilience of adolescents from low-income families. For this purpose, 15 adolescents from low-income families who are using a local children's center in City C were targeted. Group art therapy was conducted twice a week from January 12 to February 28, 2023, for a total of 11 sessions of 100 minutes each. In order to investigate the changes in their resilience, the resilience test (KRQ) was performed pre- and post-test and verified with the t-test of the corresponding sample. As a result of the examination, it was confirmed that group art therapy has a significant effect on the resilience of adolescents from low-income families. In terms of behavioral change, they also showed a lack of self-confidence in the early stages, inability to regulate and express their thoughts and emotions appropriately, poor compliance with rules, and frequent conflicts in peer relationships. However, while participating in the group art therapy program, they showed positive behavioral changes, such as following rules and being understanding and considerate of their peers. This study proved that group art therapy using various art media is effective in improving the resilience of adolescents from low-income families to help them overcome various stresses and grow up healthily.
