재난 피해자의 회복탄력성 결정요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 재난 피해자의 회복에 주요한 영향을 미치는 연령별 특성별 차이를 고려하여 재난 피해자의 회복탄력성 결정요인을 실증적으로 검증하고자 시도되었다. 이를 위해 2022년 국립재난안전연구원에서 수집한 재난피해 회복수준 실태 조사의 자료를 활용하여 사회적지지(가족, 친구, 이웃), 지역애착성을 독립변수로 상정하고, 연령대별로 회복탄력성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 분석결과 모형1인 일반인에서는 성별, 연령, 직업유무, 사회적지지의 하위요인에서는 가족, 친구, 이웃이 통계적으로 유의했고, 모형2인 노인에서는 성별, 최종학력, 직업유무, 사회적지지 하위요인 중 가족이 유의하였다. 재난 피해자 모형3인 전체에서는 거주기간을 제외한 모든 변수가 통계적으로 유의하였다. 이는 재난피해자의 회복을 위해서는 본인이 살고 있는 지역(동네)에서 거주하는 것이 좋으며 가족, 친구와 같은 친밀성을 확보한 지지체계는 효과가 있으나, 이웃은 오히려 회복에 부적인 영향을 줄 수 있다는 결과이다. 분석 결과를 통해 재난 피해자의 회복을 위해 연령대별 재난 피해자 회복 전략 수립의 필요성과 재난 피해자의 거주지 지원제도 개선에 대해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study attempts to empirically verify the determinants of disaster victims' resilience by considering differences in age and characteristics that have a major impact on disaster victims' recovery. To this end, data was used from ‘2022 Disaster Victims Damage and Recovery research on the actual condition' of National Disaster Management Institute(NDMI). Social support (family, friends, and neighbors) and community attachment are assumed as independent variables, and this study shows how they affect on resilience by age group. As a result of the analysis, in model 1(age group 16-64), gender, age, employment status and family, friends, neighbors of the subfactors of social support are statistically significant. In model 2(age group 65 more), gender, education, employment status, and family of the subfactors of social support are statistically significant. In model 3(all age groups), all variables except residence period are statistically significant. This means that for disaster victims to recover, it is better to live in their own area: a support system that secures intimacy with family and friends is effective, but neighbors can have a negative effect on recovery. The results suggest the need to establish a recovery strategy for disaster victims by age group and the improvement of the residential support system for disaster victims.
