2022 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등 실과 ‘건설 기술’ 영역의 내용에 관한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 2022 개정 교육과정의 초등 실과 교과에 새롭게 도입된 건설 기술과 관련된 내용의 단원명과 세부적 내용, 건설 구조물 만들기의 과제를 제시하는 것이다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2022 개정 교육과정 초등 실과 교과의 건설 기술과 관련된 내용은 건설 기술의 의미와 특성 이해, 친환경 건설 구조물 이해와 탐색, 간단한 건설 구조물을 만드는 활동 내용으로 구성되어 있었다. 둘째, 2019 개정 교육과정의 중학교 기술·가정 1 교과 건설 기술 관련 내용은 건설 기술의 의미·이해·시스템·세계·특징·발달·전망, 건설 구조물의 생산과 이용에 관한 내용이었고, 건설 구조물 만들기는 대부분 모형 주택 만들기와 모형 교량 만들기의 과제를 제시하고 있었다. 셋째, 초등 실과의 건설 기술에 관한 내용에서 대단원은 건설 기술을 제시하였고, 중단원은 건설 기술의 이해, 건설 구조물의 이해, 생활 속 친환경 건설 구조물 탐색, 건설 구조물 만들기 체험 활동을 제시하였으며, 소단원은 건설 기술의 의미, 건축 기술과 토목 기술, 건설 구조물의 의미, 건축 구조물과 토목 구조물, 친환경 건설 구조물의 탐색, 모형 건축 구조물과 모형 토목 구조물 만들기를 제시하였다. 넷째, 건축 구조물 만들기의 과제는 모형 주택 만들기 과제를, 토목 구조물 만들기의 과제는 모형 교량으로 현수교, 사장교, 아치교 중 선택하여 제작하는 활동 과제를 제시하였다. 다섯째, 초등학교 현직 교사들은 이 연구에서 건설 기술 관련하여 제시한 단원명과 내용은 적절하다고 평가하였으며, 모형 주택 만들기와 모형 교량 만들기의 활동 과제에 대하여 초등학생들에게 적절한 건설 구조물 만들기의 과제라고 평가를 하였다. 교사들은 만들기 과제의 재료가 모듈식으로 되어 있어 고가일 수 있으며, 이러한 제작 활동의 내용에 건설 구조물의 가치를 인식할 수 있는 내용이 보다 더 상세하게 제시되어야 한다고 하였다. 또한 모형 주택 만들기의 경우 반복적인 장착과 탈착으로 재료가 손상될 수 있으므로 보다 튼튼한 재료가 되어야 한다고 하였다.

영문 초록

This study outlines the unit titles and detailed contents of the newly introduced construction technology in the 2022 revised curriculum for elementary school Practical Arts subjects. It outlines the tasks involved in the creation of construction structures. The research findings are as follows. First, the content encompasses understanding the meaning and characteristics of construction technology, exploring eco-friendly construction structures, and engaging in activities to create simple construction structures. Second, the content related to construction technology in middle school technology and home economics 1 subjects under the 2019 revised curriculum covers the meaning, understanding, system, world, characteristics, development, and prospects of construction technology, along with the production and use of construction structures, with tasks involving the creation of a house and a bridge. Third, the revised curriculum introduced construction technology as a comprehensive unit. Understanding construction technology and various construction structures, exploring eco-friendly construction structures in daily life, and participating in activities for creating construction structures were presented as middle units. Furthermore, smaller units include the meaning of construction technology, architectural technology, and civil engineering technology; the meaning of construction structures, architectural structures, and civil engineering structures; the exploration of eco-friendly construction structures; and making creative model houses and strong model bridges. Fourth, construction tasks involve building a model house and undertaking projects such as suspension bridges, cable-stayed bridges, and arch bridges. Fifth, according to the feedback from elementary school teachers, the content related to construction technology was appropriately structured. Constructing a model house was seen as an engaging task capable of capturing students' interest, and building model bridges was also deemed appropriate and engaging.
