국문 초록

연구목적 이 연구는 읽기 부진 학습자의 복합양식 문식성 연구를 위한 시선 추적 장치의 활용 가능성을탐색하는 데 의의가 있다. 연구방법 이를 위해 읽기 부진 학습자의 교육 방안에서 복합양식 텍스트를 어떻게 다루고 있는지 문헌을 검토하고, 현행 시선 추적 장치를 활용한 국어교육의 연구에서 복합 양식 문식성은 어떤 방식으로 검토되어 왔는지 살펴보았다. 연구결과 연구 결과, 현행 시선 추적 연구에서 읽기 부진 학습자를 중심으로 살펴본 연구는 드물었으며, 시선 추적 지표 중 고정과 관련된 데이터가 중심적으로 사용되었다. 또한 추적을 통해 도출된 양적 데이터를 그대로 활용하기보다는 사후 구술 등 이로부터 비롯된 질적 데이터를 중점적으로 활용함을 알 수 있다. 결론 읽기 부진 학습자의 복합양식 텍스트 읽기를 양상을 면밀히 탐색할 필요가 있으며, 시선 추적 장치를 활용할 시에는 읽기 부진 학습자의 특성을 고려하며 다각도로 읽기 과정을 검토함이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study explored the possibility of using an eye-tracking device to study the multimodal literacy of struggling readers. Methods: For this purpose, literature on how multimodal texts are handled in the education plan for struggling readers was reviewed, and the researchers examined how multimodal literacy has been reviewed in studies of Korean language education using current eye tracking devices. Results: In the current eye tracking research, there were few studies that focused on the struggling readers, and among the eye tracking indicators, data related to fixation was mainly used. The results of this study indicate that rather than solely drawing upon quantitative data derived through tracking in the moment, the focus on utilizing qualitative data derived from this, such as post-reading examination for oral statements has validity. Conclusion: The study revealed that there is a need to closely explore several aspects of the reading of multi-modal texts by poor readers, and when using eye tracking devices, it is necessary to consider the characteristics of struggling readers and explore their reading processes.
