영문 초록

This paper aims to describe and to compare the Grammatical Categories of Definiteness in Russian and Bulgarian Languages. For this purpose, the author, first of all, selects the text “Воскресение” in Russian as the main research data. After that, the author seeks the examples that possess the demonstrative pronouns, articles and other grammatical categories of definiteness in Russian “Воскресение” and it s translations in Bulgarian. In this paper, the author shows about 30 examples. The results of this research are as follow: 1. Unlike in Russian, in Bulgarian the definiteness mainly is expressed by definite article. ex.) в оконце глаз старухи (R.) → Окото на старата жена (Bg.). 2. The use of definite article in Bulgarian is extremely productive. ex.) глаза в форточках дверей(R.) → през шпионките на вратите (Bg.). 3. In Bulgarian, as the non-definite article can be used and found един, една. ex.) подал ей копейку (R.) → подаде една копейка (Bg.). 4. In addition to the definite article, in Bulgarian, can be used and found си. ex.)по камням отвыкшими от ходьбы(R.) → по камъните с отвикналите си (Bg.).
