태평양동맹(Pacific Alliance)과 한국간 교역활성화를 위한 무역구조 분석에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국과 태평양동맹 4개국 간의 시장점유율, 무역집중도, 무역특화도를 활용하여, 무역구조를 분석하였다. 분석결과 한국에서는 자동차 및 부품, 철강, 전자기기 등 공산품 위주로 수출을 하고 있으며, 광물성연료, 동, 식용과일과 같은 원자재 및 농산물을 수입하고 있어 상호보완적 무역구조를 나타내고 있다. 무역특화도 분석에서는 한국은 비금속제 공구, 플라스틱, 자동차, 철강, 기계류등의 품목이 수출에 특화되어 있었으며, 광, 슬렉, 회, 식용과실, 목재펄프 등 1차산품에 수입 특화되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 태평양동맹 준회원국 가입은 한국과 태평양동맹 간 자유무역협정 체결 효과를 가져올 것이다. 한국의 10대 수출국 중 하나지만 아직 FTA가 체결되지 않은 멕시코 시장에서 관세와 비관세 장벽을 낮춰 우리 기업의 수출 경쟁력 제고를 기대할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 한국과 태평양동맹의 주요품목 무역구조 분석을 통해 수출전략 수립에 시사점을 제시하고자 하였으며, 태평양동맹을 교두보로 향후 북미, 남미 지역으로 진출에 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study attempted to analyze the trade structure of major items by using market share and trade specialization index. Through this, the export competitiveness of the Pacific Alliance will be secured. Research design, data, methodology : In this study, MS, TII, TSI on commodity trade between Korea and Pacific Alliance was analyzed using trade data. Results : Through this, Korea exports mainly industrial products such as automobiles, parts, steel, and electronic equipment. Korea imports raw materials and agricultural products such as mineral fuels, copper, and edible fruits, showing a complementary trade structure. Conclusions : As Korea s main export industries, such as automobiles, electronic devices, and steel products, are specialized in PA. The effect can be increased through economic integration
