간병 형태와 간호사 태도가 병원 입원환자 만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 간병 형태와 간호사 태도가 병원 입원환자 만족도에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 2019년 보건복지부 의료서비스 경험 조사참여자 중 병원에 입원하여 가족 간병, 간병인에 의한 간병, 간호·간병통합서비스를 받은 경험이 있는 만 20세 이상 성인 156명의 자료를 분석하였다. 간병 받은 경험은 2018년에서 2019년 사이 입원하여 간병 받은 경험중 가장 최근 경험을 조사한 자료이다. 자료의 통계분석 방법은 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, 일원 배치 분산분석, 독립표본 T-검증, Pearson 상관관계, 다중 회귀분석을 이용하였고, 도구의 신뢰도 확인을 위하여 Cronbach’s alpha 계수를 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 병원 입원환자 만족도는 가족 간병보다 간호·간병통합서비스를 받았을 때(β=-0.18, p=.022), 간호사 태도가 바람직할수록(β=0.64, p<.001) 통계적으로 유의하게 증가하였다. 본연구결과는 의료기관을 이용한 환자의 만족도를 증가시키기 위하여 질 높은 간호·간병통합서비스 제공과 바람직한 간호사의 태도가 중요함을 보여준다. 이러한 결과는 향후 의료기관이 의료서비스를 개선하거나 환자 만족도를 높이고자 할 때 근거자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study identifies the effect of forms of care and nurses’ attitude on hospital in-patient satisfaction. Data were derived from the patients’ medical service experience survey, conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Participants were 156 adults aged 20 or older, who were hospitalized and cared for by family members, caregivers, or comprehensive nursing care personnel in 2018 and 2019. Descriptive methods (frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation), one-way ANOVA, independent t-test, Pearson correlation, multiple regression analysis, and Cronbach s alpha coefficients to verify the tool s reliability were used for statistical analysis. Findings indicate that hospital in-patient satisfaction increased significantly when comprehensive nursing care services were received rather than family care (β=-0.18, p=.022), and when nurses’ attitudes were desirable (β=0.64, p<.001). The findings of this study reveal the importance of providing high-quality comprehensive nursing care services with desirable nurses, in increasing the satisfaction of in-patients among medical institutions. These results provide evidence for future medical institutions to improve medical services or enhance patient satisfaction.
