대학생 핵심역량 진단 척도 개발 및 타당성 연구: D 대학을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생들이 갖추어야 할 핵심역량의 수준을 진단할 수 있는 척도를 개발하고자 하였다. 특히 D 대학이 추구하고 있는 6대 핵심역량(자기경영, 글로컬, 나눔, 소통, 융합, 도전성취)을 기반으로 핵심역량을 설정하였다. 이를 위해 기본적인 구성 개념 및 예비문항을 도출하고, 1~2차 조사를 통해 내용 및 안면 타당도를 검증하였으며, 요인분석을 통한 문항 분석 및 신뢰도검증을 거쳤다. 그리고 타 대학 핵심역량 진단 척도를 기준으로 공존 타당도를 검증하였다. 그 결과, 6대 핵심역량 별 2개의 하위 역량을 각각 도출하였으며, 도출된 하위 역량별 3~5개의 문항으로 구성되어 최종 47개의 최종 문항이 개발되었다. 자기경영 역량(8문항)은 자기이해 관리(4문항), 자기 주도적 실천(4문항) 역량으로, 글로컬 역량(8문항)은 글로컬 이해(3문항)와 글로컬 기술(5문항) 역량으로, 나눔 역량(8문항)은 관용 배려(4문항)와 봉사 나눔 역량(4문항)으로 구성되었으며, 소통 역량(8문항)은 타인 존중(5문항)과 민주적 의사소통(3문항) 역량으로, 융합 역량(8문항)은 창의 문제해결(3문항)과 다원적 사고(5문항) 역량으로, 도전성취 역량(7문항)은 미래 개척(3문항)과 경쟁적 능동실천(4문항) 역량으로 구성되었다. 이에 따라, 대학 차원의 핵심역량 지속관리, 핵심역량 기반의 교과 및 비교과 프로그램 운영, 학생 차원의 역량개발, 자기성찰 유도 및 개인 관리를 강화하는 데 본 척도가 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was to develop a scale that could diagnose the level of core competencies that college students should have. In particular, core competencies were set based on the six core competencies (Self-Management, Glocal, Sharing, Communication, Convergence, and Achievement-Challenges) pursued by D University. To do this, basic composition concepts and preliminary questions were derived, content- and face-validity were verified through the first and second surveys, and item analysis and reliability were verified through factor analysis. In addition, concurrent validity was verified based on the diagnostic scale of other university. As a result, two sub-competencies were derived for each of the six core competencies, and the final 47 questions were developed with 3-5 questions for each derived sub-competence. Self-Management competency (8 questions; below number of questions) consisted of self-understanding management (4) and self-regulated practice (4). Glocal competency (8) consisted of glocal understanding (3) and glocal skills (5). Sharing competency (8) consisted of tolerance & consideration (4) and service sharing (4). Communication competency (8) consisted of respect for others (5) and democratic communication (3). Convergence competency (8) consisted creatively solve problems (3) and pluralistic thinking (5). Achievement-Challenges competency (7) consited of conduct future pioneer (3) and competitive active practice (4). Accordingly, this scale can be used to strengthen unversity-level core competency management, core competency-based curriculum and noncurricular program operation, student-level competency development, induction of self-reflection, and personal management.
